Amazing service and food as always, ribeye steak is my favourite there. Staff always friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere with the singer.

Enjoyed our meal had the set menu Pappardelle salmon pasta & Homemade tiramisu. Main was lovely only negative was hardly any salmon, we had to look for it I counted 9 small thumb nail pieces, sauce & pasta was tasty. Dessert was delicious & good portion size. Staff were friendly overall a good experience. We will definitely be going back.

It was our first visit to the New Boar and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We have recommended the New Boar to friends and will be visiting again very soon.

First time going since it changed owners. Beautifully decorated. Lovely attentive staff who kept us updated on our order. Delicious food

Really great experience here last night. Couldn’t fault it. Good menu, really good food - I had the beef carpaccio and the lobster spaghetti and both were exceptional. Lovely wine and really attentive service. I’ll be back for sure.

A nice enough roast dinner however after years of visiting the previous blue boar restaurant I truly think you could take a leaf out of their book in regards to the menu and the service / restaurant ambience. We found the menu had fewer options since our last visit, and the service was rushed. Music too loud and not the expected relaxing ambiance of a Sunday dinner. It is fair enough for a Friday / Saturday night but for a Sunday roast you’d expect to be more chilled. The waitress all polite but far too attentive to the point you would feel rushed and like the staff are waiting to go home.. it’s understandable you want a new vibe from the blue boar as new owners but in our experience, If it ain’t broke then don’t fix it. The food was hot and a 7/10 for pub roast dinner , just lacked more choice of side dishes. The owners are friendly but the service needs to be improved in terms of rushing customers etc.
