    Experience a culinary journey with our Chef’s Choice Menu, featuring a selection of six dishes - Crab and Seaweed Tartlets, Cured Scallops, Truffle Spaghetti & Parmesan, Chargrilled Turbot and Vin Jaune Sauce, Iberico Pork Pluma and our famous Pain Perdu. A vegetarian tasting menu is also available. Please note that all of our dishes are made to be shared. Your table will be booked for 2.5 hours for parties of up to 2; 2 hours 45 minutes for parties of up to 4.

    poor slow service. no hand towels or hand dryer in men's and ladies loos cheese plate was an absolute joke, small piece of fridge temperature supermarket grade cheese.

    The food was delicious but the service was not up to Michelin star standards. We had to wait a while in an uncomfortably small doorway to be seated. The wait staff took a long time to take our order, never topped our water up and did not clear our plates when we were done with the main course until we asked. The wait staff were lovely when interacting with them but it seemed they were understaffed which overall did not give us the experience we have had at other Michelin starred restaurants. The female bathroom lock was broken and there were no hand towel or hand dryer. Overall, if the only expectation is to have good food, I would recommend this restaurant but if you are expecting to have a wonderful experience, The Ninth is not where you would get it.

    From the second we arrived until the moment we left everything at the Ninth was perfect The service from all the staff was exceptional and the food was delicious. A really nice touch of celebrating our anniversary with us and a table visit from chef Tanaka was the cherry on the cake. Can’t recommend The Ninth highly enough.

    We had the chefs choice tasting menu with wine pairing. Staff were nice and welcoming, we arrived when the restaurant just opened for 6 so the atmosphere was relaxed which was nice. The food was delicious and well presented, each dish arrived promptly and the wine pairing to go with each dish was lovely and well explained by the staff which was a nice touch. My one slight negative was the fact each dish was made for sharing and some of the portion sizes were quite small so if there are two of you with a larger appetite you might leave still feeling a tad hungry, this is why I left a 4 star for value as I felt for the price having your own dish each wouldn’t have been too much to ask. Regardless of that the quality of the food was very good, the pork and potato main dish being the standout, absolutely exquisite! I’d recommend a visit for anyone looking for a Michelin star tasting menu on the slightly more affordable side I would just say be prepared to have to get a late night snack on the way home!

    The service was great, but from a 1 michelin star restaurant, we expected the food and wine to be better. For the pasta, the truffle had no taste. You can tell it was frozen. For the seabass, it had a weird smell and taste. It was also weird to have the puntarelle on top of the seabass because we couldn't see what we were eating. The cheese we got for dessert was just ok. The Belu water served was clearly tap water. My friend orders Belu water at home and the one serves last night was clearly tap water. The top of the bottle was not even closed properly. Lastly, we ordered the Sancere rouge, which must have been full of sulphites because we both had scorching headaches after. We're not expecting anything, just providing constructive feedback, thanks :)

    Fantastic food, very tasty and well presented. Not the same for the Sancerre rouge which was off its window and not worth the price tag. Service was pleasant but sometimes a bit abrupt.
