The Nook On Five uses produce from the best butchers, fishmongers, grocers, creameries, distilleries and vineyards to create dishes and experiences both fun and fine.

Serving Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner, take in mouth-watering bites overlooking the Cotswolds and the rooftops of Montpellier.

Headed up by Alisha Phillpotts, the kitchen carefully selects the finest produce to cook up a refined evening à la carte menu, alongside a fab lunch and all day menu of modern British classics and twists.

The bar and cellar offers an extensive English section to our wine list and serve up some fantastic cocktails which you can take out to our rooftop terrace.

Join us for a special New Years Eve dinner, guests to arrive at 7pm. Choose between our land, plant and sea menu, followed by live music and bagpipes at midnight. Champagne included. Please note, our usual A La Carte menu will not be offered for NYE evening as an alternative menu.

Enjoy afternoon tea with us at the Nook. We freshly prepare our cakes, scones and sandwiches every day. We tend to always have a Macaron, a chocolate and a sponge. Allergies & Dietaries- Please let us know of any dietary or allergy requirements in advance of your booking. Because we make everything fresh we need to make tailored products in advance. If we do not get this in advance, accommodating your requirements could take up to 1 hour from the time you arrive as we will be baking those cakes fresh for you on the day.

Enjoy the ultimate Chef's Table experience with a 7 course Tasting Menu including wine pairing and interactions with our chefs about each exquisite course. Your group will be completely private from the restaurant so you can enjoy exclusive dining in our Private Dining Room with a maximum of 12 guests. £1000 minimum spend required at the point of booking. We do require at least 1 week's notice period. OpenTable does not enable us to monitor this. Therefore, if you are booking within this timeframe your booking may be cancelled and your £1000 deposit will be returned to you. Would not recommend for an afternoon tea. By far the worst afternoon tea we have ever had. For a place that claims to be unique and elevated and charges as such, we were so disappointed with both the food and the service. The afternoon tea selection was the most basic and average I’ve ever seen. Shredded cheese and chutney, egg and cress and turkey and cranberry. Nothing unique or original there. But the worst part was the cake selection. Everything was heavy, stodgy, and stale. Fruit cake, flapjacks, brownie, and empty choux buns. There was nothing light or fruity or colorful. There were no beautiful garnishes or anything elevated about this experience. They ran out of macarons so put some flapjack on there instead. The choux buns were dried out and 2 out of 3 were empty and missing the cream. It was the most bland and boring afternoon tea the 3 of us had ever had. It was such a shame as we were there for a special occasion. This was one of our son’s Christmas presents as he loves afternoons teas and was visiting England for the holidays. I booked this place specifically thinking it would be high end quality and it was anything but. There was also an insect on one of the cakes that I took a photo of. We left 90% of the cakes after trying a bite of them. When we spoke to our server Adrian (a supervisor) he could not care less. We then spoke to a manager who said he could not help us and also did not care. They both had snobby attitudes and my mother in law and I were appalled. We ended up paying full price £90 for 3 half eaten afternoon teas. We will not be returning and will be advising our friends to stay away from this wanna be luxury restaurant.

Absolutely amazing ambience and service. We thoroughly enjoyed the food but the roast potatoes were not as good as the standard of the other foods served.

Not quite the usual Nook experience on Christmas Eve. The food didn't quite have the usual finesse, the table we had had a spotlight glaring into one of our faces (couldn't be fixed) and the wine was a bit ordinary for the prices charged.

We had a reservation for Sunday afternoon 22nd of December, the restaurant was decorated beautifully for Christmas and dinner was accompanied with a singer and pianist performing seasonal classics which was absolutely amazing. The staff were very polite and attentive which was great and overall it was a good experience, it was just a real shame in regards to the food, we felt that we were essentially paying for the ambience rather than the food. All roasts were accompanied with seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, cauliflower cheese and a Yorkshire pudding and there was a vegetarian option on the menu, though it didn’t go into detail. When it came out we realised the vegetarian roast was basically squash, not squash made into anything, just the squash, so essentially vegetables with vegetables, which just doesn’t substitute as a main part of a meal however it’s dressed up, though they didn’t even try to dress it up. I just couldn’t believe it and it was such a shame as we had said we would love to go back there, but we felt the food overall was just ok, then in regard to the vegetarian aspect of the meal, we felt it was really lazy not to put a bit more thought and effort into the menu and I pretty much left the majority, as the abundance of vegetables left it pretty bland.

An amazing venue, staff were very professional, attentive and friendly. The courses took a while to arrive but were delicious. My wife had the scallops and I had prawn cocktail, a real traditional treat! No lemon wedge but it didn’t need it. Main course was fish and chips and wagyu burger. My chips were much better than the skin on fries in our opinion. Portions were generous. Overall the food and experience was excellent, a real birthday treat for my wife. We will return - in fact we bought a voucher for a Christmas gift. Thank you.
