The Park Bistro & Bar showcases only the freshest, local and organically grown produce as well as naturally raised meats and line-caught fish. Executive Chef Rodrigo Alvarez has created an approachable, yet inventive menu, presenting a French twist on American fare. With a wholesome and earthy quality, many dishes elevate “comfort” food. Natural light from the romantic inner fountain courtyard, intimate alcoves, a large communal table and versatile private dining spaces. Rustic stone floors, natural wood tables, leather seating and an original art program create a warm and inviting, yet grand and inspiring, space that will create the most memorable dining experience in Lafayette. The hostess that seated us was not pleased at all and definitely showed it when we asked for another table as she was seating our group. We asked to sit in a corner table rather than a table by the swinging kitchen doors. Very few people there so there were lots of open tables. We settled at a nice table, but were not given any menus. We had not seen the waitress and after 15 minutes , I had to get up to get menus from the hostess. Waitress was nice enough, took our orders and that was the last we saw of her until she brought the check. Very disappointing compared to the past great service we have experienced.

Our server, Maxwell, was incredible. We always have a lovely time at the Park Bistro but Maxwell was the icing on the cake.

We had a lovely time sitting by the fire! Relaxing atmosphere. The filets were very good as were the beet salad and French onion soup!

When I made the reservation a few days ahead I asked for a table in the main room in an alcove. When we got there the host said all the alcove tables were taken. I was very disappointed and will not return soon. Don’t ask if you have a special request if you are not honoring it.

Two of us dined on a very busy Saturday night when the wait staff (& doubtless kitchen) were at full tilt, but everything was excellent from the service, food, and always the ambiance!

I used to be a regular at The Bark Bistro, but yesterday ended up being my last visit. Although we arrived early, we were seated in front of the restroom and trash can. Our server was actually a bartender, and she only checked on us twice throughout the entire meal. No one assisted us, no one brought us utensils, and we had to ask multiple people for help. The restaurant was overcrowded with a large party, making it extremely loud, and there weren’t enough staff to handle the situation. We constantly had to request our next course because no one was paying attention to our table. It was an absolutely disappointing level of service.
