Beautiful old house w lots of charm. Only thing I would say that was not expected and really not appreciated was that we were only allowed to stay just under 2 hours. They came to the table after 90 minutes to let us know that the table was booked to another group soon. For the amount you pay BOO! $63 + tax per person. When I pay that much for a “tea”, I expect to be able to take my time eating. But otherwise it was a nice experience.

Had the high tea which was excellent. Very creative special sandwiches plus all the items one would want on the 3 tier tray. I've never seen so many choices of tea. I had the Black Earl Grey Lavender which was awesome. Our server was also excellent and took the time to explain each item and help with the choice of tea. I've had high tea at a few places in Greater Victoria and this one is not to be missed. If I were to pick one based on food quality, ambience and value, this one would be my first choice.

The front desk was kind and accommodated for an extra person for our reservation. We had 2 vegans in our group. We were unaware that we needed to notify them 24 hours in advance that we had 2 vegans. When we got there we told the server and he told us that. Then completely disregarded us and said we could just have tea and everyone else in our group could get the tower. His poor attitude was unwelcoming. As a vegan I knew they had vegan options I just never imagined I needed to notify them 24 hours in advance. Everyone else in my group liked the food however the vegans sat and watched them eat. They should consider having vegan options on hand for vegans seeing as it’s not super clear that vegans needs to notify 24 hours before. The tea was great and they had oat milk. It was cold milk it would have been nice if it was warm.

I took my 8 year old daughter for a "fancy date", and we loved it! Great food, service, and atmosphere.

We had a party of 6, and everyone loved it! They have a special kids menu that was a hit with the teen/tween, and the adult tea service was also fantastic. Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful experience that even my 12 year old son enjoyed! The food was amazing and the tea options were VAST! Anytime I am in Victoria, I will be having a tea at Pendray.

Great experience. Each menu item was amazing. We especially loved the scones they were baked to perfection. Service is great, the presentation and server support are excellent. Overall a must do experience if in Victoria

I went on Christmas Eve with my sister. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The food and tea were exceptional, and their portions were generous. And the decoration is really nice. We had a great time.
