The quality of food has gone down significantly. We ate here about 6 months ago and it wasn’t the best then. We decided to give it another try and it was awful. Lobster bisque tasted burnt and was not the texture of a bisque. Candle butter with rolls had no flavor except rosemary. We added a significant amount of salt. Rolls were hard on the top and bottom. Risotto was a massive portion with absolutely no flavor. Again we added lots of salt and pepper. The chicken added to the risotto was flavorless and not worth the extra charge. I even asked the waitress if it was a wood grilled chicken breast and she said yes. The chicken saw a grill long enough for pale grill marks but it was not wood grilled. Finally dessert we had the almond croissant bread pudding which was extremely dry that we couldn’t finish it. We also had the salted caramel gelato that was another massive portion but not good. The wine was a super sweet Pinot Grigio and I didn’t finish my glass. It is disappointing to see what was such a wonderful place go down hill so quickly and to the point we won’t return and we won’t recommend it to anyone if anything deter guests from going

Kim was an excellent and personable server. The portions were large and prepared and presented very well. Great flavors.

Went on NYE and was very excited to try as I’d never been there. Seated immediately with reservation and the place definitely had a festive atmosphere. Ordered drinks, shareable plates and dessert. Everything was just okay at best (cauliflower, octopus, bread, banana cream pie). Service was good but a little quick. Sad to say I’m not sure I’ll be back anytime soon. Nothing I had was good enough to make me want to go back.

Incredible food, service and ambience. Such a great addition to our town and so happy to see the place packed. We unfortunately did not take photos, we are trying to stay off our devices. We ordered two apps, prosciutto and dates and Baja Soppas. Main dish was lobster with pasta and the other was Osso Buco. Final was the cinnamon apple cake with salted Carmel gelato (outstanding)! Everything was delicious. We look forward to coming in and talking with the staff. Ru the bartender, amazing memory that makes the best smoked old fashioned. Bri, restaurant manager, she immediately greeted us and saying hi. Joey owner, wasn’t there but when he’s there he’s always so polite and stops over to say hello. Happy New Year to all at The Phoenix! See you all again soon.

We had a great first dinner here on NYE with friends! We all enjoyed the atmosphere, drinks, and food and thought our overall experience was great! Saganaki could come with a few extra bread slices or smaller cheese portion but we love having this nice local spot so good and so close to home. Will definitely be back!

Kathy was our waitress. She is sensational. She brought out food and drinks in the perfect amount of time. She checked in on us often but not too often. The food came out hot and fresh. The whole staff was warm and welcoming. Our whole party enjoyed their time, the food and the drinks. We will be going back again and again.

We have been to the Phoenix several times but this time was not good. My holiday cosmo was just so-so. Don’t know what made it holiday . Our saganki appetizer was the absolute worst ever. The scant amount of cheese was so stuck to the pan that a good part of it was wasted. We did inform our server about the cheese being stuck but no apology or remedy was offered. My filet was cut in 3 pieces and undercooked. I’ve never been served a filet that wasn’t a solid piece of meat. My mashed potato side was neither creamy nor well-seasoned . Such a disappointing experience from a restaurant that has been good in the past.
