The entire family is sure to enjoy Savannah's most intriguing & historic restaurant. At the Pirates' House, our most precious treasure is the food. Situated in Trustees Garden, merely a scant block from the Savannah River, the Famous Pirates' House is the most historic spot in Georgia. The Herb House, erected in 1734, located inside the Pirates' House, is said to be the oldest house in Georgia. The Pirates' House first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers and fast became a meeting point for blood-thirsty pirates & sailors. Parking on site.

    Service was excellent. The food was sooo good and came super quickly. I loved the Honey Pecan Fried Chicken. The entire experience was wonderful.

    We took our kids here with us as it seemed like a fun family restaurant. It did not disappoint! Our kids lived the kids menu that included pirate hats for them to wear and little extras as well. The food was great and service was top notch. We will definitely be back!

    What a cool place to dine!! We were seating in the “Herb House” in a small room Full of historic ambiance. The food was delicious! We had She Crab Soup that was creamy and full of crab, Calamari with light breading that was so tender and the Honey Pecan Fried chicken that was moist, tender and delicious! Highly recommend this fun family friendly restaurant!

    The Pirate’s House is an absolute gem in Savannah! While the charming, slightly touristy atmosphere adds a bit of fun and whimsy to the experience, the real star is the food. The Southern-inspired dishes are crafted with the highest quality ingredients, and the flavors are simply outstanding. From the perfectly seasoned she-crab soup to the melt-in-your-mouth honey-pecan fried chicken, every bite was an unforgettable delight. The Pirate’s House should be at the very top of your list. It’s officially my new favorite restaurant in Savannah, and I can’t wait to return on every visit!

    We had a wonderful time. The food wasn’t as good as we hoped for the price, but our server was great and the ambience and place was amazing!

    The pirate house was such a great experience. we loved the historic vibe and character! our server was so professional and friendly and our food was delicious! we definitely recommend coming here when yiu are in savannah!
