   We enjoyed some sharing small plates; hi-light being the curry wurst! Absolutely delicious, especially with the wonderful German larger. My dish of sea bass with red curry broth was delightful; perfectly cooked fish with a beautiful spicy aromatic sauce; really tasty!

   The hospitality at The Plough was spot on. Efficient and friendly, attentive and discreet. Compliments to the chef for a super dinner. Delicious!!

   Excellent food at very reasonable prices, with outstanding customer service. Very knowledgeable with my Coeliac disease and even amended a dish to make it safe for me to eat - on a busy Saturday night! I honestly can't praise this hidden gem enough.

   Absolutely fantastic Valentine's evening meal. Warm welcome followed by exceptional service from all staff throughout the meal, our waiter was incredibly polite and just the right amount of attentive. The food at the Plough was next to none, we visited before for a Sunday roast and I've never had a better roast beef. This visit was no exception, beautifully cooked meat and fish dishes served with fresh seasonal veg and perfectly balanced sauces. The crab cocktail starter was a particular showstopper, and the banana parfait was unique yet delicious. I noticed lots of awards above the cosy fireplace by our table, I was surprised not to see a Michelin! An absolute gem in a rural location, well worth the drive or a taxi home. We will be back again.

    Date Night with my husband! We had the Fat Tuesday deal with drinks, 3 delicious small plates and chips for £30…fantastic value for money! We had a lovely evening with great food and service! 😊
