   We dined at The Plough Inn twice while in the area for a weekend break, Friday evening and Sunday lunch. Both were very pleasant experiences. The food was delicious and the service was excellent; efficient and very friendly. Would definitely recommend a visit.

   Pleasant family lunch.. Good food and comfortable surroundings although a bit chilly in the snug bar where we ate.

   We had never been to The Plough before as we have only recently moved to the area, but the young woman behind the bar greeted us as if we were regulars. We were immediately seated at our table by Will, who was lovely. He kept an eye on us without being intrusive and was very professional for such a young man. The owner was also in the restaurant and she took time to check that we were happy with the food and service and we had a brief chat but the restaurantwas starting to get busy. We had their traditional Sunday lunch, which was delicious and plentiful and we have already decided we'll be back!

   Great experience in a warm and cosy country pub. Food and service are excellent, highly recommend the fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding. It’s well worth a visit

   A very nice, quiet place to eat with amazing food. Pity the toad in hole was off the menu but tge fillet steak was cooked to perfection

    Very limited menu. Then (on a Friday), no fish available even though it was on the menu!
