   Have been a few times so I do know what to expect. Waitress was excellent. Caesar salad and steak tartar was EXCELLENT but took over 25 mins to be delivered. Main courses of shepherds pie was honestly really disappointing. Lacked veggies and was very greasy. Chicken Korma was okay. Very expensive meal and left feeling main courses were a big let down.

   Great experience. Good was top notch, service staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Dining room was beautiful. Will be back

   A group of 7 of us went, and there were options for everyone! The atmosphere is stunning and the food delicious!

   The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and professional. The atmosphere was warm, comfortable, and cozy, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. However, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations, especially for the price. The prime rib was slightly overcooked, and the Yorkshire pudding was on the dry side. The veggies were well-prepared, the escargot was decent, but nothing standout. Surprisingly, the fries ended up being the highlight of the meal—crispy, well-seasoned, and delicious. Overall, while the ambiance and service were great, the food didn’t quite justify the cost. I’d consider returning, but I’d likely try something different on the menu.

   Such a lovely meal - from the oysters to the gravlax and then prime rib - all so delicious! Our server, Mia, made sure we were well taken care of! Love love love this restaurant!!

   Have been wanting to get here since the fall. I’m from Stratford, so first opportunity. Highly recommend! Our food, drink, service and ambience of tavern was wonderful. We’ll be back! Highly recommend!

    Be sure to check that you’re not sitting under a speaker in the ceiling. The music was loud and thumping and it was difficult to talk and be heard at our table. The waiter was very vague and seemed somewhat annoyed when asking about different dishes. The restaurant itself has been updated from a dull dingy space to one more inviting. Food was so so and fried too salty. Would not rush to go back.
