Went on a Sunday night to celebrate my husband’s birthday. All of the food was very very good. Caesar Salad, Fish and Chips and Lobster Roll. For birthday’s you can have a free dessert. The German Chocolate Cake was excellent. We had a reservation, but by 6pm, almost all of the tables were filled. Service was excellent and the food comes out very quick. So I recommend, not ordering everything at the same time.

Took my wife here on a date, immediately was taken aback by the atmosphere and ambience. It’s a beautiful place. Got seated and was immediately helped by a wonderful waitress. We ordered a Red Blend and the espresso martini, both were wonderful. We then ordered the Lobster Mac and the ribeye, alongside the beer cheese dip. Let’s just say, they were fantastic. Took home the Mac because the portion sizes were big and we couldn’t say goodbye to such a good meal. Overall, 5/5 wonderful place. Definitely try it out if you are on the fence, you won’t be disappointed.

Though there was a Valentine’s Day menu (one choice for two people), the daily menu was more a lunch menu than a dinner menu. The starters were not (in my opinion) crowd pleasers and the wine list was slim. If one wants a cocktail/mixed drink after work, this is your place. There’s a nice bar with many seats. But, if you want dinner with varied choices that are not lunch foods, don’t go here.

This was our first visit to The Post Tavern inside the Ada Hotel. I am not easily impressed, but I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The space itself has a lot of natural light shining in, which balances some of the dark, modern interior finishings very well. The service was amazing, and the food was top notch. My partner had the Shepherd’s Pie, and I had the Lobster Mac. Both were delicious and of high quality. The plating of the Shepherd’s Pie was especially beautiful, and I was very pleased with the amount of lobster in the Mac. Highly recommend visiting The Post Tavern!

Everything was prepared wonderfully and presentation was also very good which makes the meal even more enjoyable. Homemade fries, don't see that much anymore, and they tasted great! Good teamwork amongst the staff.

Food was decent and fairly priced. Not a huge selection, flat on the menu options. Service and ambiance was excellent though

Have dined at the Post several times. Overall, great restaurant- a few things seem a little bit overpriced for Grand Rapids. Our server Zach was awesome and very knowledgeable- he recommended a side of focaccia with the beer cheese dip and was spot on with his recommendation. The celery root should not be in there at all. Or just do potato wedges and leave it at that. Will definitely continue dining here in the future.

Great experience, for a big group. The kids love the food here (especially the chicken tenders). Very easy to hear from end to end of table.
