    Brilliant customer service - we were made to feel very welcome and were well looked after throughout our meal. We shared a grilled lobster which was delicious- but were spoilt for choice with the menu. Loved the cup of chowder as a starter! An added bonus was being able to bring our dog. Can’t wait to go again- delicious food representing real value for money. Thank you

    My friends & I had THE most delicious lunch today at the Potted Lobster 🦞. The Dover Sole was Amazing! First time we'd been and we'll definitely return. Lovely food, lovely staff. Well done!!

    We booked for a lunch as most evenings were fully booked. Unfortunately we had a noisy, rowdy party nearby which slightly spoilt the experience. Overall the food and service was excellent. I wish I could say it represented good value but on the whole most dishes were quite expensive. Overall a fairly pleasant experience.

    We called on a Sunday night 7pm. Great venue and friendly staff. The choice of seafood was fantastic. My only complaint is the price of the drinks. I go drinking occasionally down Manchester and don't even pay £6.99 a pint and £4 for a coke, wow. Draft coke is just watered down syrup. My friend has a pub, he tells me the mark up on soft drinks is massive. But besides that the food, which is why we called, was fantastic. My boy loved the lobster. I would definitely recommend the food. Matt

    The Potted Lobster has always been our go to restaurant when on holiday in the surrounding area. It has an excellent vibe, very attentive and friendly staff with a good set menu and daily specials. We went for Sunday lunchtime, 6 April 25, and it was busy. Delicious food but high on the price front. Probably due to its success and the current financial climate. It was still worth it.

    Amazing food with friendly service despite being busy. Dog friendly. Parking nearby not easy- leave time to find a park, especially on weekends!

    Excellent lunch with generous portions. Great specials board. Everything fresh and tasty. Only one thing. Service almost too good. Would be perfect to have a little more time between courses.

    My second visit and was lovely. Table by the window was great and all ready on our arrival. The food was delicious: Potted Lobster and cheese souffle for starters Cod with chorizo and red onion chilli jam dauphinoise potato's and veg Monkfish in a wild mushroom cream sauce and fondant potato Lamb with buttery mash No room for pudding haha Recommend you starve yourself all day haha
