The Potting Shed is a place to meet, eat, drink, relax and chat your day and night away – where hanging plants, terracotta pots and timber beams meet brass, brick and iron. Where you can plant yourself down on the swing seat, bench or at the bar and feel like you are on your family’s porch.

It’s a lively place where you can hoe into fresh, locally harvested produce, delivered by our shed-hands. The same hands that will deliver you good-natured banter, craft beers on tap, great tasting wines and unique cocktails.

The menu offers cozy share options for groups, three course substantial meal choices for those wanting to make an evening of it and a fun selection of nibbles for people wanting a light after-work snack with their cocktails or a share jug amongst friends.

Their Green Salad was easily veganised and absolutely delicious! Just wish they had more vegan options on the menu, for somewhere that bases their theme on plants!!

Chose the set menu for our party of 7. Outstanding food and wonderful service. Everyone was happy. Perfect amounts of everything. Highly recommend for atmosphere, ambiance and value for money. Go, book a table, you will not be dissapointed!

Waiting staff was rushed, rough and rude at times, which made our experience uncomfortable and anxious. There was a mistake in the timing and delivery of our entries and mains, which arrived at the same time. Food quality has slipped since the last time we visited. And we believe there was error in our bill, which now needs to be investigated.

Booked a group dining at the potting shed. The private room was quiet but the Air-con could've set to cooler for a day that's 30 degrees for better comfort. Food was good and fresh. The booking staff was very helpful and service was friendly.

Since I discovered The Potting Shed in 2019 I have been coming back to eat there as soon as I am in Sydney and I am never disappointed: the service, the atmosphere, the setting, the original cocktails not to mention the themed decorations. It's my favorite place !
