LOVED the atmosphere! LOVED the views! Our server, Racheal (sp?), was menu savvy so we basically let her order for us... a delicious decision! The Watermelon Salad was an unexpected combination of summer treats that REALLLLLLY worked! It was amazingly refreshing! The Venison Empanadas were also a hit with great flavor combinations! The Bison Rib Eye was not as tender as the Filet however both were exceptionally flavorful. We need to try Brunch next!

We had lunch and the food was delicious. I tried the shrimp salad with the grilled watermelon. It was very good. The atmosphere was very comfortable and friendly. We loved the window view from our table where we could see the beautiful scenery. The service was excellent and she gave us the history of the ranch. We had an enjoyable and relaxing time.

Wonderful place to go for a fabulous dining experience. The chef is terrific and our waiter was super. They also have the BEST bloody maria in the country!

We went out for brunch on Sunday and the food was excellent. Very nice place to entertain or take your family to enjoy a great meal. Our waiter Nick was very friendly and the service was very good to our satisfaction.

If you take the scenic backroads just 30 minutes north of McKinney, The Ranch House is a pleasant surprise in Bells Texas. The restaurant has a natural and organic Texas elegance with genuine gracious Southern hospitality by the staff. We started with the Stuffed Eland Meatballs and Cilantro Shrimp as appetizers. I especially enjoyed the whimsy of the chili spiced popcorn that garnished the shrimp. WOW to the grilled pear salad with perfectly balanced fresh flavors. For the entrees, we chose the Bison Short Ribs and Filet Mignon. The smoked and grilled fingerling potatoes were amazing as a side. For dessert, we had the signature banana bread and beignets. All was perfection. On the way home, we discussed which friends and family we would take the next time so they could enjoy the experience. Definitely worth the drive for the superior food quality and creativeness, friendly service, and peaceful views.

In our lunch party of three one had a cheeseburger, and the others had the venison burgers. All three were delicious. Service a little slow due to the chef was also the lone server. We really didn't mind though.

The chief and staff were just wonderful. The setting was lovely as well. The patio was not open that evening but it looked lovely as well.
