                                                                                      From walking through the door and being greeted nothing was to much trouble. The menu was exceptional with all different types of food. They catered for all are need from changing the chips to a salad one of my friends are vegan and they helped her through the menu advising her about the food she could have. The bar is well equipped with all sorts of ales and lager and spirits. The service we have been given was excellent

                                                                                      Took my elderly parents for a birthday treat, who'd said they had struggled to find anywhere recently that lived up to the hype or the prices being charged for the food served. They were throughly delighted with the whole evening, pleasantly served by courteous staff. Outstanding quality of food, and a a fair price for what we all enjoyed. 😁😁

                                                                                      Tried it once and thought it was outstanding and maybe just a one off good day, but after the second visit the service, food and cleanliness was yet again exceptional. We cannot fault this place, they are definately one of the best restaurants in Northants/Beds by far.

                                                                                      A lovely pub and the food was very good. The only minor issue we had was with the menu. There were four of us eating and we all struggled to choose something. More fish choices and possibly a pasta or rice focussed dish would be worth considering. We will visit again though as it was a pleasant evening.

                                                                                      Been a regular visitor to The Red Lion over the years. The food is very good, always tasty and good size portions. However, we were greeted (at 7pm) with those words you don't want to hear... "we have run out of... (insert the dish you were going to order here!)". There was no beef rib pie, no spicy burger and no local hero burger, so, as a table of 4, we were slightly disappointed. That said, what we did have (steaks, burger, ribs) was very good.

                                                                                      Steaks were unfortunately so very tough that both of us could not eat even half. They tasted great but we could not chew it. So we boxed it up and fed it to the chickens! Very disappointed because food is normally fantastic here!
