Overall it was just fair, food was fair to good, not great/excellent. Our server was good, but our food was delivered by other staff and not all together, plus our appetizer came out with entrees and one entree was wrong. We had a table of 8 and we sat literally at a plastic table with a table cover to hide it. I was first seated at a 2-seat table with a friend, and it was too small. After sitting for about 5 minutes, no server greeted us. I then asked the hostess for a bigger table and there weren't any, so we sat at the bar. The bartender wasn't very personable and was also overworked. He was the only one serving about 25 people. Service to say was very slow. The food was also a disappointment. I had the filet medallions which was average and not served hot and the coleslaw was bland. My friend had a burger which was not hot and dry, and the side of a squash casserole was cold. For dessert, the apple pie with ice cream was ok. When it was time to leave, it took almost 20 minutes to get out of there. The bartender just had too much to do with drink orders and serving food. Last is that the bar is a mess in that new customers were standing behind me waiting for a seat. Management needs to control the flow of people and not allow them to crowd others. The atmosphere was interesting though. Shortly after, we placed our food orders. Despite the quick start, service quickly slowed. A few minutes later, the croissants finally arrived, followed by the salads, and then our entrées—before we’d even started eating the salads.\n\nThe person who delivered the food rudely asked if we wanted it taken back. We declined, worried it would get cold—but by the time we finished our salads, the food was already cold. My meal was especially disappointing. The hamburger steak had a strong seafood taste, like it had been dragged through the ocean—it was terrible.\n\nThey did remove it from the bill, and the manager apologized with several excuses, but it didn’t make up for the poor experience.
