My complaint for our experience today was your luncheon menu was very disappointing. The fish n chips had no flavor at all, some of the other plates were just ok. We had the choice of the buffet but that was even limited, my family was from out of state so I was a little embarrased. Our waitress was very nice and very helpful. There was a situation where one of my family members hated her lunch and was disappointed by her dessert. The waitress tried her best to be very accommodating. Went for dinner a few months ago and loved it. Never again for lunch.

My first time at Rum Runners: Although a couple of minor mistakes were made, which I believe had more to do with the noise level from the live band than anything else, the servers were quite amiable, courteous & willing to help in any way they could. The food was excellent! Will return to this restaurant again.

Amazing! Went to thanksgiving dinner here and was so impressed with how good the Buffett was! The server even got me the espresso flight which normally they only do at brunch. Can’t recommend this place enough amazing food drink and service !

This was my first time at the rum runner, even though I’ve lived here in Monmouth County for 35 years. I’m not sure what I was walking into however, I must say the place looked wonderful. We were seated fairly quickly given that it was Thanksgiving day. The weight staff was personable and attentive. I enjoyed the food although I wish they would’ve had prime rib as one of my choices Instead of ham. I also wish they would’ve had dark meat instead of all white turkey meat, but that’s a personal preference. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Our party of six really enjoyed our evening at Rum Runner. Our server was terrific (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) - professional, friendly. The cocktails and wine were excellent. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers (ahi tuna nachos & jerk chicken lettuce cups), and the entrees were very good. My only critique was that my Betty salad with sesame ahi tuna was drenched in dressing. Other than that, a terrific evening at a beautiful venue.
