Curated by Aaron Taylor, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Corporate Chef & Chef Partner in this concept, the menu puts steak in the spotlight with over 11 cuts from Chicago-based meat purveyor Meats by Linz. The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. To complement the steak options, seasonal shellfish and seafood entrees will be available including dover sole, Maryland rockfish, whole live lobster, king salmon, Chilean sea bass and more.
The Ruxton will serve lunch every weekday and dinner 7 days a week. Be sure to visit Atlas’ new world-class cocktail bar and lounge next door to The Ruxton called Order of the Ace.

    The food was great. Legit NY strip with flavor. The other chain steakhouses should take a lesson. Nice ambiance too!

    I took my daughter here for her birthday. Her steak was prepared incorrectly, twice. I advised our waiter that I have a gluten allergy. She said she would check to see if the Chilled Seafood Salad was OK. I assumed it was gluten free because it was served as part of my appetizer. Unfortunately, it is not! After I experienced severe GI symptoms hours later, I Googled the ingredients and it is NOT Gluten free!! Horrible service, overpriced and overrated!

    Ruston is definitely not a high end chain steakhouse. The food and service was excellent. Only waited 3-5 mins for cocktailS. We appreciated not feeling rushed and enjoyed a 2 hr dining experience with my parents.

    This was our first time at the Ruxton, amazing vibe, and ambience. Everyone from the front to Maître d' made us feel right at home. Our server Jordan, walked this through the meal. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flow of the meal was perfect. Drinks were amazing and curated perfectly. I highly recommend you ask your servers their opinions on dishes. Let the cooking staff know if you enjoyed a dish or the meal. They deserve praise.  Wish we had more time to visit again!

    One of the best steak house experiences I’ve had. We were looking for a dinner spot and as soon as I saw the wine list I knew The Ruston was likely to be a great choice and it was. Most steak houses in the Mid-Atlantic have a very pedestrian selection of wines you can find in grocery stores. This place has a very thoughtful selection of wines. They have some mainstream things as well. Everyone and everything was better than we dares hope. I highly recommend!

    We were there for our 30 year anniversary. The service was outstanding. Demetrius was very professional along with the rest of the staff. The chopped salad was very good and refreshing, the wagyu sliders were just OK yet distinct in flavor, the bison ribeye was also unique in flavor and again OK, the filet mignon was very good, the creamy gold potatoes felt as a good as out of a box. The whole experience, because of Demetrius and the staff along with the environment was positive.
