Composed along the expanse of Swansea Bay, flanked by the Gower Peninsula and Brecon Beacons, within striking distance of the fertile valleys, coastal plains and farmland of West Wales, the Waterfront City of Swansea sits at the beating heart of nature’s larder. Bounties of the season from land, sea and pasture are at our fingertips.
Our daily changing menus reflect a constant creative evolution, making use of local produce at the very place and moment of their seasonal prime. This begins in the kitchen and is realised at the table; Egalitarian, convivial and accessible to all. Full in heart and generous of spirit.

Had a wonderful meal last night - the spicy margherita cocktail was delicious. We would like to have tried the braised beef special however this had sold out. The fish, cauliflower cheese was delicious. We couldn’t decide which dessert to go for - choc dessert was scrumptious! The staff were helpful snd attentive. Wish this restaurant well go and support it!

Such a lovely evening at The Shed. Food was impeccable and the waiting staff were the right balance of attentive and friendly without being too formal or overbearing. We will definitely be back.

Been meaning to try Shed since it opened in Swansea ans a suitably damp day proved the impetus. Lovely smiley friendly greeting, space to choose a table. Started with cockle croquettes to get us going. Rather tasty followed and by a fabulous crab. Main was hake, perfectly cooked. The malt creme bruelle was one of the best I've had and I've eaten a few in my time. Service throughout was relaxed and never to intrusive. If you ever find yourself in Swansea on a damp/sunny/cloudy day, and looking for a place to eat. I'd definitely give The Shed a go.

Starter and main were both superb. We had the two course Sunday lunch menu and the starters were really fresh and well balanced. Lovely fresh veg sides in the Sunday roast main, with meat cooked perfectly. Service was impeccable. Best meal I have had in Swansea.

Me and a friend booked a table at kitchen counter on a Sunday. We had never been before, didn't know what to expect but.. it was a lovely experience. The food was incredible, amazing quality, we got to watch the chefs prepare over the counter. The manager and wait staff were so helpful, they couldn't do enough for us. A brilliant experience from start to finish, I will definitely return.

Outstanding ., service , ambiance . A busy buzzy Saturday night ! Nell and Ruby were at their best ensuring all diners received excellent service. Great drinks/ cocktails options on arrival. We took our table promptly after a visit to the bar , must say the bar stuff certainly knew their stuff ! Coping with our choices brilliantly . Ruby kindly reserved the last 2 of the offal starters from the days specials, the other starters chosen were greens and mussels, all of which were delicious, completing the cider pickled sardines and the cockle croquettes . The sharing steak dish was cooked to perfection and it was no trouble to substitute the chips for a beet salad. The red mullet was amazing as was the ox tongue. The portion sizes just allowed us room for dessert, with the blood orange pavlova, the chocolate pudding, the Welsh cakes with whiskey and the honey mousse and rhubarb accompanying the dessert wines recommended by Peter, and Hershey our server was very informative. All in all, a fabulous evening with excellent food and service. Thank you all .

What a great evening, the staff were very helpful, friendly & very knowledgeable with the menu selection we were very impressed. Not forgetting the food which was delicious & the cockle croquettes awesome we could have eaten a bucket of them!!!!!!!!!!! The whole experience was fantastic we will definitely return & be recommending The Shed to all our foody friends!
