Farm to table food & drink on the majestic grounds of The Horse Shoe Farm! We believe in communal dining and intentional hospitality. Open 7 days a week! Breakfast 8-10a | Lunch 12-3pm | Dinner 5-8:30pm.

The Silo Bar is open Sunday to Wednesday from 12-9pm and Thursday to Saturday from 12-10pm. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a beverage, game room, bonfire and sweeping Mt. Pisgah views! Please make your reservation time at the time you would like to be seated for dinner. **GF/V/Kids Menu Options available upon request.

We have tried all entries over the last 4 visits and all are delicious. small plate mushrooms, beets, and others are all great. All staff are pleasant and upbeat. Atmosphere is a nice change from the usual restaurant formal. Very intimate setting while still using a community style seating. Daryl and Millicent are both great servers, and all helpers are very attentive. Cant wait to return!

we absolutely loved dining at the silo cookhouse! we’re locals and have heard very good things about it, so we decided to spend our 3-year anniversary here, and i’m so glad we did. everyone was friendly, attentive, and personable. millicent took care of us and was one of the highlights of our evening! we will be back.

New Year’s Eve was a wonderful culinary experience! My compliments to the chef! The caviar bar was such a nice addition! The pre fixe menu was exceptional. The only thing I would have changed was the music playing in the bar area before the piano player started. Happy New Year to you & your staff! Vicki C.

The farm to table atmosphere with the communion style seating was great experience. The ribeye is absolutely one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Chef Dan and his staff are amazing! Will be on our regular eating out rotation.

My first time there and here are my thoughts. Ambience and service were exceptional. Communal dining is interesting, but found that there were several loud diners at the table and it was difficult to have a discussion among ourselves. Food was the big issue for me: beef carpaccio was tasty, but that earthiness was lacking. Scallops and the puree were served lukewarm to cool. I was looking forward to a seared and sizzling scallop so was disappointed, BUT the flavor was excellent. The chicken entree was well seasoned and interesting, but it was again, lukewarm and a bit dry. I was hoping for a succulent roasted chicken. The miso sweet potatoes were delightful and the best thing on the plate. Unfortunately, the amount allowed for only several small forkfuls. The best dish of the evening was the sticky toffee pudding and it was perfection! I came expecting a perfect gourmet meal since this restaurant is so hyped and left a bit disappointed. That being said, I would go back and give it another try - maybe a different season.
