   I booked this place to celebrate Mother’s Day with my 3 sisters, we ordered the French onion soup, my sister placed her spoon the the soup and the soup exploded on her arm and lap and burned her. The owner came over and said the temperature of the soup is 540 degrees and that she should have been more careful, that is was her fault! They ruined out night out, she was in so much pain we had to end the night early. They were “nice” enough to comp the soup! The reaction of the staff surprised us. They made it feel like it was our fault. Instead of leaving there feeling good, we left there feeling shamed.

   Four of us enjoyed another outstanding meal with excellent service at The Spott. Two of us ordered the fresh catch, which this time was seared grouper with , charred lemon, and fruit gels. on a bed of "soubise lemon risotto and broccolini." Another enjoyed the "Heritage Pork "Ham" Chop, Honey brined & applewood smoked, sweet potato butter, datil jelly, VT cheddar mac n' cheese, spicy green beans." We had specifically requested our favorite table and our favorite server, Erica. It was a special evening, as have been our previous meals at 'The Spot'.

   This is our favorite “spott” in New Smyrna. It’s always great from the cocktails to the food, you just can’t go wrong. We highly recommend the fish bites and honey shrimp appetizers. All steaks are amazing and we love the Spott burger and our all time favorite is the pork chop. Like I said, you can’t go wrong.

   Best meal and dining experience we’ve had in NSB in a long time! Hands down, the best spot around. Apps were perfection. Burger, fish sandwich and truffle fries were all amazing!

    First visit to the Spott. Made reservations and we we were seated in a nice table right away. Our server was pleasant and well versed on the menu. Food was served quickly and was delicious!!! Everything tasted fresh and we loved that it was locally sourced. The ambience is a little dark but tables were spaced nicely. Will definitely be back!
