This Thanksgiving, experience a unique culinary collaboration at the Strand located in the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort. Chef Christopher Robertson of our contemporary American restaurant joins forces with Executive Chef Timo Steubing of the Michelin-starred Tambourine Room by Tristan Brandt to present a four-course dinner. The menu features Wagyu beef tartare, guinea fowl consommé, decadent turkey with cornbread chestnut stuffing, and apple cobbler a la mode. Lobster tacos were delicious. The crispy grilled artichoke a disappointment. Our server was helpful.

I loved the restaurant with its ocean view even when it was raining . Good service, no complaints! I really enjoyed my drink but when it comes to food, tried the Miami Spice I fairly enjoyed the dessert, a Turkish rice pudding, other than that, feta cheese with black tahini… extremely sweet and pink shrimps with polenta… I ate the shrimps because I was starving but the polenta I just couldn’t, it left this after taste in my mouth that I didn’t like it to say the less and the texture wasn’t right!!!

I went to the tambourine room on the same day. That’s the other restaurant in the lobby that opens for dinner. What a great experience. The Strand is not bad but lacks the quality of the other restaurant.

Very disappointing. Zero atmosphere, poor service, food is very overpriced, inferior quality cuts of 🥩 steak, only thing decent was the truffle fries 🍟 Too many other excellent options close.. so much potential as it's a beautiful location

At beach, but no view. $42/for piece of mediocre branzino- with nothing else on the plate except fresh rosemary- which just highlighted that the fish did not seem fresh. Cocktail and main course both came during appetizer. When I complained, they offered to keep the fish warm while I ate appetizer- and this with completely empty restaurant.

The service and ambience was excellent. When I made my 2:45 reservation, I didn't realize that the kitchen closes between lunch and dinner service. So when I sat down I was told that the kitchen would be closing in 10 minutes. I felt a bit rushed to place my order and eat quickly (the check was dropped off immediately after my food arrived). I got the salmon poke, it was good but not *amazing*, and quite overpriced.
