Welcome to The Tarratine. We focus on providing an elegant yet approachable experience for our community. Created with skill and passion, the menu features an exciting array of seafood, streak, and signature items from our Executive Chef and his culinary team. This is within our historic gentlemen's social club, built-in 1907. Our spacious venue allows for individual experiences in various spaces, including our rooftop terrace. The Tarratine provides a variety of spirits, cocktails, local brews on tap, and an approachable wine list.

Parties of 12 - 18 guests will be offered a reduced restaurant menu.
Parties with 19+ guests, please call us at 207-992-4090, and someone will love to talk to you about your special night.
We allow you to bring in a cake from state-licensed bakeries; a $5 per person cutting fee will be added to the final bill.

Due to the historic nature of the building, our upper levels are not handicap accessible.

    Park Street is a one way street that has parking on both sides, there is often parking available in front of the building. We have private parking lot at the corner of Penobscot and Park with a sign at the entrance. City Hall allows us to use their parking after hours on Harlow Street and Center Street, it is a short walk up the hill.

                                            We come here often and we choose to make your visits special. We dress for dinner though that isn't required. We have never had a meal that wasn't delicious. Even their decaf coffee is tasty. The staff is another plus. All of the people with whom we have been served from the valet that opens the door, to reception, and serving are knowledge, efficient, helpful, and enjoyable individuals. It is not just the delicious food for which we return it is the entire package.

                                            Absolutely fantastic in every way possible - the food, the experience, the service. One of the best meals we have ever had. I have celiac and they are very accommodating to gluten free diners, with many delicious options - and even gf bread! We will definitely be coming back, especially once its warmer so we can dine on the rooftop!

                                            If you’re in the Bangor area and haven’t been to The Tarrantine you are missing out. One of the few dining experiences in the area. Historic building, rooftop bar, and tasteful menu. The menu does change and is limited, always check the current menu before going.
