The Three Daggers is a traditional, cosy and oak-beamed British pub nestled in the beautiful Wiltshire village of Edington, a mere few miles from the Westbury White Horse.

We are honoured to have won the prestigious Pub of the Year Award for the whole of England in 2020, to have continually held our 2 AA Rosettes for culinary excellence since 2019 and to have been awarded 5 x Gold Stars from the AA for Accommodation excellence.

Our food is traditional British pub food with a twist, all accompanied with a carefully curated wine list alongside ales brewed from in our very own Three Daggers Brewery a moment's walk from the Pub. We also have the lovely Three Daggers Farm Shop, groaning with fresh, seasonal fruit & veg with much of the produce being sourced from our Priory Farm in the village.

Our first time eating here. We took some friends to say “thank you “ for their kindness to us. Thoroughly enjoyable. Lovely food and generous portions. Waiting staff very friendly and the log fire was great. Will definitely go again and recommend to family and friends.

The staff were all very accommodating especially as we were 15 minutes late. Michael was efficient and patient and his knowledge of the drinks was extensive and helpful. Liv was effiecient and also very knowledgeable with regards to the menu and nothing was too much trouble especially as we had people join us during the meal. The whole experience was really enjoyable and we would like to thank both members of staff for making the evening pleasant and memorable. The food was delicious and the whole evening was one to remember thank you.

What an incredible place-the food was amazing and the service was even better. We were so well looked after throughout our time there. A lovely, warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Came for lunch here for my birthday. The food and service were nothing short of spectacular! Incredible value for money and their beers are top tier. Be sure to buy some from their shop to take home with you!

Starter tasted of msg Main seemed to have been heated in a microwave Yorkshire pud like crispy air Pork so very fatty I could not eat it Lovely pub Lovely staff Used to be good food

Excellent starter and main courses. Good variety on the menu, including interesting vegetarian options. Good quality food that’s skilfully cooked. Staff friendly and attentive. Separately dining area is set apart from the bar area and it would be nice to feel a bit closer to the cheer and warmth of an open fire in the depth of winter.

As with previous visits here, we cannot fault the food or service. Sadly, this visit which was supposed to be a birthday meal for my husband was ruined by a noisy party taking place upstairs, directly above us. There were frequent sudden loud bangs and thuds on the floor and also young children running around above us. Our server was most apologetic but no--one asked the noisy party to stop the banging and thudding. We ended up leaving shortly after finishing our main courses. Other diners were also complaining about the noise disturbance. Had we known at the time of booking that there would be noise disturbance, we might not have booked on this occasion and instead gone elsewhere.

Second trip in a week! As I was out in the evening we opted for 3 starters, one each and 1 to share. The squid and soup were delicious as was the Camembert. Drinks arrived promptly although there was a little wait for the coffee at the end. Our female server was very pleasant and helpful. However service was patchy, and I think this was due to only two servers being around (from what I could see). Need to sort that going forward. I did find the restaurant a bit chilly. Overall a good experience and it was nicely busy so added to the atmosphere. Would I go again, yes definitely.
