                                                                          The Thanksgiving meal was adequate. The food was barely warm. We had a four person party and all ordered the Thanksgiving dinner. One dinner was missing a side dish. Not a problem since the missing dish was brought out promptly but it made us question the attention to detail of the kitchen staff. Also bread was not brought to the table until we asked for it. We were also seated at a less than desirable location; third floor in the back when we had made reservations months ago. All in all, it was a disappointing experience as compared to the previous year. We plan on returning next Thanksgiving but we will request better seating and maybe this was just a one off for the restaurant.

                                                                          Another wonderful Thanksgiving meal! Olivia was our server and she was helpful and attentive. She was facing a long day of serving but was incredibly cheerful! The harvest platter is enormous! Tasty turkey and ham along with perfect sides. Needless to say, we have leftovers! A lovely place to celebrate Thanksgiving. Feeling thankful!

                                                                          The staff was amazing! The food especially the sides were not warm. They had been sitting somewhere before being served. l would still go back. Next time, l would tell the server about it. We all still enjoyed our dinner!!!

                                                                          We are traveling and staying in Richmond and I booked one of the last reservations online just a couple days prior. So glad I did! I hadn’t been here in over 15 years and today, we had an exceptional experience…. all around! We both ordered the Harvest Dinner which was a “traditional thanksgiving dinner” with turkey, ham and all the fixings we love. Portions were extremely generous and honestly so delicious that we didn’t even miss being away from home this Thanksgiving! Cheers!

                                                                          I recently visited The Tobacco Company for a birthday dinner with a few friends, and it was an overall fantastic dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant's atmosphere stood out. The vibe was sophisticated yet comfortable, featuring exposed brick, ornate chandeliers, and striking, vintage-style mirrors that made the space feel both elegant and inviting. One of the coolest features was the antique-style elevator, which added a fun, quirky touch to the ambiance. For dinner, I opted for the scallops, which were served with a delicious mushroom risotto and asparagus. The portions were generous, and everything was cooked to perfection. The scallops were tender and flavorful, and the risotto was creamy without being too heavy. I also tried the she-crab soup as a starter, but unfortunately, it wasn't my favorite. It was a bit too thick and creamy for my taste, with a texture similar to cream of chicken soup, which felt a little overwhelming. The cocktails were another highlight. Each of us ordered something different, and we all loved what we tried. The drink menu had a great variety, and the drinks were well-crafted with creative flavors. All in all, The Tobacco Company provided a memorable dining experience. The food, cocktails, and ambiance make it a great choice for anyone seeking an upscale, fine-dining experience in Richmond. It's definitely worth checking out, especially if you're looking to celebrate a special occasion!
