                                                                          I hosted my nephew and his fiancee for dinner to celebrate their engagement. We were joined by another family member, and we all LOVED our meals. Thomas was a considerate server with thoughtful suggestions and even honored the happy couple with dessert. The historic setting was, as always, elegant- especially decked out beautifully for Christmas. We look forward to dining here again soon.

                                                                          We booked a table for 7 pm on Thanksgiving for the advertised Thanksgiving meal. We waited for 20 mins after our res to be seated. Once seated, we were waited on immediately to place orders for drinks. Those came quickly. Then, our waitress took orders. Three of us wanted the traditional Thanksgiving meal, as advertised. One wanted the crab cakes. Our waitress returned within minutes to tell us they were out of Turkey but could substitute ham in its place. Okay. Ham it was to be. Not fresh ham but cured ham. Okay. But, we all agreed that the sides - mashed potatoes, dressing, and sweet potatoes - all tasted exactly the same. Same flavor. Same texture. Pecan pie was unremarkable Pumpkin pie was delicious. All in all, a mediocre meal with an excellent waitress. Will we return? No.

                                                                          Went here for Thanksgiving dinner and got the harvest dinner. It was delicious and a good value. The restaurant itself was beautiful. Took a while and a couple of inquiries to get someone to take a drink order, bring menus and wait on us. The table behind us was seated about 5 minutes after us and received water and menus right away. Our waiter was good but disappeared for long periods of time. I mean I wasn’t expecting him to stand there and wait solely on us but when your water is empty and your wine glass is empty generally that prompts a waiter to come to your table. That didn’t happen. We would definitely give this place another try but maybe not on a holiday.

                                                                          We went for their Thanksgiving dinner. Food was good when it finally arrived. We sat down, ordered our drinks and then dinner, no appetizers. We waited an hour and twenty minutes, watched tables around us getting their meals. Told several times that ours was "coming soon" and we waited. Finally after an hour and a half we complained. A few minutes later the manager delivered our meals like we had done something wrong. Not a word spoken. Just stuck the food in front of us and left. Realize, we just ordered their Thanksgiving dinners, nothing from the menu. They were serving these in volume. They had to have prepared most of it in volume and all they had to do was put it on the plate and deliver. It's not like we ordered steaks that had to be individually cooked etc. As you can tell, not a very pleasant experience for Thanksgiving.

                                                                          Had a wonderful meal that was marred by subpar service. I think they were understaffed for Thanksgiving. There was a 25 minute wait after our reservation time, which is not unusual but was surprised that were plenty of empty tables where we could have been seated. The food was very good but not pleased by the lack of service. We were more than halfway thru our meal before being checked on by our server. My son and I both needed a drink refill. I wanted to enjoy a glass of wine with my meal but by the time the wine came, my food was cold. Was also surprised when the bill came that I was charged $12 for the wine when the menu price showed $10.
