The Vig at McDowell Mountain is the 5th member in the Vig family of restaurants and the 11th establishment in the Genuine Concepts family of bars and restaurants. This Vig boasts breathtaking views of the McDowell mountains while featuring 2 full-service bars, spacious indoor booth and table seating and more than ample outdoor facilities for games and activities.
The Vig at McDowell Mountain is in a new standalone building on the southwest corner of Bell Road and Thompson Peak Parkway. The roughly 13,000-square-foot space is designed to take advantage of mountain views with large glass windows and other elements that bring the outdoors inside.

Tried the Asian Salad will def be getting that again. Gloria our waitress was very attentive and did great job. The Vig has been in our restaurant rotation for a long time because food is reliably good and the wait staff is great

Came here for NYE, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The atmosphere was electric, with fantastic live music setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were top-notch—crafted with care and creativity. The staff was attentive and courteous throughout the night, with a special shoutout to Ryan for going above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. From the lively ambiance to the seamless service, this was the ultimate way to ring in the new year. Highly recommend for any special occasion or just a great night out!

Our food was great our service was borderline nonexistent. Never offered to refill beverages or take an additional drink order unless we waived someone down. Had to request after sitting for 11 minutes that someone come and take a drink order. Our server finally came over, took our drink order and we said we are also ready to order our food, and she stated that we would have to wait she was too busy. We also noted in our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, and it was never recognized. Our boys play hockey at the ice den, and we go there often and sit at the bar where service is usually A+. To be honest doubt we will ever go back after this experience just to many other good options.

Our food was not good. The calamari was over cooked and tepid. The hamburgers were mediocre, served with cold and hard French fries. The half chicken was barely a quarter of a chicken - smallest portion ever. Service was very slow. A disappointment for sure.

My husband didn’t like the fish and chips. My sister’s pastrami was too fatty and needed more lean meat. I loved the steak frites but French fries were hard. Too much screaming about the football game from other patrons and was jarring. We prefer a more relaxed restaurant setting. If we come back, going out on the patio if it’s a nice weather evening might be a better idea.
