   We had reservations at 6:30 pm. We waited an hour for our food. We ordered rib eye which wasn’t on the menu. Our server suggested it. Our server didn’t ask how we wanted our steak cooked. It was pink and undercooked. We didn’t want to wait longer so we didn’t complain and ask for it to be cooked longer. We thought the meal was over priced at $62. The steak wasn’t very good. We were very disappointed.

   We were there for the first time. Beautiful restaurant. Food was excellent, föod pricing was good. We did eine tasting after and we enjoyed that as well

   Breakfast is not great at all. Service was bad, cause the waiter we had was rude. The other staff members were nice. For the pricing it was just an ok breakfast not a big selection and not willing to customize or request substitutions. Very disappointing. Much better for lunch & dinner.

   Staying at the South Coast Winery & Resort made it easy to have a meal at The Vineyard Rose. Wine was outstanding and my husband and I enjoyed our meal. Mark our waiter was superb and attentive when glasses needed to be filled or if we were ready for the next course. My only negative comment is on the value. I had the lamb shank which was delicious but a much smaller piece of meat than I've had at other restaurants for the same cost.

   Hummus platter was great. Not traditional but flavor was on point. Mediterranean salad with chicken (large) was good to be split by 2. The flatbread pizzas were too dough-y and thick and not very “flat”. Toppings fell off and count have been more well done.

   First visit (am from Texas) and was highly impressed. Mike, our server, was terrific - attentive, knowledgeable, listened to our thoughts and represented the menu very well. The wine, the filet mignon entree' and the dessert were tops. We returned for breakfast the following morning and were again impressed with the quality and portions. A beautiful facility with ample table spacing to set the mood for a relaxing, enjoyable meal. Nicely done.

    First service was gracious and friendly. On the downside the food not what we hoped for. Squash soup was good as was the salad. The entree was very disappointing. Can’t recommended.
