                                          Have dined at The Vineyard Rose many times over the years. It has been a few years and was sad to see that the quality had changed. Paid for the bread service, which is ridiculous for $8 for tasteless focaccia. I noticed the table next to us had also ordered it and like ours it was removed with very little gone. It was very unimpressive. I ordered the filet and while the steak itself which was very undercooked, but edible-I ordered medium rare was not bad, the sauce on it was at best elevated bbq sauce and made it difficult to eat. My daughter ordered the halibut and she was very happy with that, but agreed the sauce ruined the filet. The service which was always very good was also lacking. I felt the waitress was very absent although the other waiter was very quick with water and removal of dishes. We had planned on going for breakfast as well but elected not to and try someplace else.

                                          Good, but steak asada was very cold. Cooked med rare but the outside was cold as if it was left out for a while. Everything else was fine.

                                          We had NYE dinner reservations and when we got there they tried to sit us outside in the overflow area. When I asked to be seated inside, I was told that they were no longer seating people inside even though I had a reservation. They finally sat us inside where we witnessed others being seated after us. We were then told that it would take at least an hour for pre fixe meal to be served so we bypassed our dessert so we could go to the NYE party thrown at the hotel which we were already late for. The restaurant didn’t do a good job planning for a NYE crowd and unfortunately the service reflected it which in turn put damper on not only our dinner but the rest of the evening as well.
