The entrees are absolutely delicious. Had Sea Bass the first time and Lamb the second. Both perfectly prepared. My wife had the lobster spaghetti once and filet the second. Both delicious. The service is spectacular and the ambiance is great. Nice quiet place. Where it loses its luster is the side dishes and the drinks. The mashed potatoes are almost verging on runny, no body to them. Mushrooms were ok at best and came out like warm. Creamed spinach wasn’t creamed and cold when it got to the table. Mac and cheese was good. Drinks are, in my opinion, way overpriced. Asked for a double Bourbon on a large cube. Was charged for a double but definitely not one. The icing on the cake was being charged $1 for a large ice cube. You’ve gotta be kidding me. $30 for a “double” and you ding me $1 for ice. Not what I expected when spending almost $500 for 4 people. That $1 was just over the top for me

Randomly tried the walrus room on a Friday. Got an early reservation, plate was packed and full of good energy. Waiter was Steve. Knew the menu and wine list well. Had the bbq shrimp, gumbo soup, house salad, filet with asparagus and the coq au vin. Everything was prepared perfectly. Timing was great. No rush, no long waits. The coq au vin was spectacular. Walrus room will be in our rotation.

This is not a supper club!! We should have left when we saw a server setting a table and their hair was dragging over all the plates and silverware on the table but, we already had our drinks and appetizers ( not very good). How can you justify 90$ on a steak that was no better than something you get at Jewel. It was so tough. Plus all you get was a steak. No side no veggie nothing…You live and learn I guess. To be fair.. the manager did offer us something if we come back again. We told her thank you but it’s not worth it.

The wedge salad was great and my surf and turf was outstanding. Kudos to the chef and our waiter Tony did an excellent job!

Great ambiance and excellent food and service, the walleye and scallops were delicious. The Walrus Room has always been one our favorites!
