My prime rib was really a steak. It would have been good, but I asked for medium rare and it was medium well and tough.

$125 for a prix fixe menu and it was just ok. Not worth the price. You basically pay for the view. The front desk /hostess woman came in late as we were checking in with the rest of the hosts at the stand (who were lovely), but the one who came in late talked to us like we were bothering her. It was busy, but I was very polite but she was curt and not welcoming. The other host personally walked us to our table by the water, which was sweet.

I wanted to be wowed but left feeling meh. Yes, it was a holiday prix fixe meal, and they were busy, but the food specifically was really sub par. I had the lobster bisque, which was lukewarm, and more like a gravy. I also had the prime rib, which came also cold, thin, and lacking flavor. Dessert was a creme brulee, which also was cold on arrival. I felt like everything was premade and not fired on order. Yes, somethings can be partially premade, but everything here felt like there was no interest in making sure what they served really reflected both the craft of the restaurant and the concerns for the customer.

Our experience was wonderful. My party of twelve was seated upstairs to afford us a little more privacy and the ambiance was percect. The service was attentive without being intrusive and they were always near if a request for something popped up. The food was excellent with a menu that offered enough options to offer tantalizing decisions that had me wanting to order more than one entre'. We will be going back!

We were in San Francisco celebrating our 10th anniversary and decided to have a nice lunch. After much searching, I found this restaurant, which had great reviews. From the moment we arrived until we left, the service was exceptional. The food was delicious, and the staff members were amazing. We truly enjoyed our lunch experience, and we will definitely come back. Additionally, the view was spectacular.

Beautiful location for a celebration meal with friends - we also love to have lunch at the Waterfront because of the views. Good place to keep in mind when you have visitors...lovely decorations for Christmas too.

I was at the Waterfront Restaurant for a holiday brunch with a dear friend. We really enjoyed the attentive service, amazing food, beautiful views of the waterfront and the festive decor. I definitely recommend this place for and the Kobe Beef burger as well as Clam Chowder!!

Very lovely restaurant with wonderful view of Bay Bridge but food was not outstanding. Crab cakes and sauce were pretty good but overpriced at $34 for 2 tiny cakes. The Fried Calamari and Rock Shrimp were not crispy. Our bowls of Clam Chowder were less than lukewarm. The Sticky Pudding dessert had almost no sauce. $157 not including tip. We won’t be back.

We had a wonderful meeting. Decorations for the holidays were a special touch. Emre, our waiter and other servers were outstanding. Bravo!
