The Wheel focuses on American cuisine brimming with locally sourced ingredients in an industrial chic, waterfront setting.

Drawing on fresh ingredients from over 40 local farmers, fishermen and purveyors, the restaurant features the best of what’s in season with an ever-changing menu plus produce grown and harvested right from The Village’s rooftop garden. At the center of its open kitchen lies a hearth oven used to roast meats, fish and vegetables, as well as to bake Neapolitan-style pizzas.

    We went to this restaurant for brunch with two other couples. We weren't rushed which was nice. The food was very tasty and different but, the service was very slow to come around and ask if we needed coffee, water, etc. We were disappointed that the table did not automatically come with bread and butter. We are all bread people and enjoy a crusty piece of bread with a smear of butter. Would be nice if the restaurant provided this complimentary.

    A delightful place too be, as usual. The food could stand perfecting but the service and ambience make up for it.

    Great service and food. It was a lively Saturday night with lots of people dining but not loud. It has a good vibe. We were never waiting for our courses but it was not rushed either. We will be back as menu has a few other entrees to try. We had the short ribs and YUM.

    My husband ordered the crab cake appetizer and said it was one of the best he has ever had! (And he is from Maryland, need I say more!)

    The space is inviting. Our table was nice and spacious for 8 people. Our waiter had too many tables that he was in charge of and it was a bit hard to get his attention at times. The calamari appetizer was perfection and the rest of the food was decent. Not over the top delicious but good. It is a little pricey for the portion size as well. We will return but it won't be our first choice.

    We are frequent visitors of The Wheel. We are always impressed by the cocktails, food, service and ambiance. I couldn't recommend this restaurant more. We have lived here for 6+ years and believe The Wheel is by far the best restaurant in the Stamford metro area.

    A bit disappointed to be seated right by the service door to kitchen when there were other tables open. Also did not get the requested booth. Otherwise all good.

    From appetizers to entrees everything was delicious service impeccable, great cocktails and really nice wine list

    Overall, it was great! Very attentive! Food was prepared in a unique way using delicious sauces. Can't wait to go back!
