A quality and relaxing local pub, run by award winning owners, in the beautiful Buckinghamshire village of Iver just a short drive from M4. The building and decor are charming and rustic, with elegant modern touches. Relax by the cozy log burner perfect for winter evenings or enjoy outdoor heated sitting, beer gardens and children play area. A daily menu, meal deals, all freshly prepared in the pub kitchen, includes fresh fish, burgers, salads, chicken, paining, baguettes, wraps, sandwiches and vegan choice food, delicious deserts that melts in your mouth and chef's daily specials with main course, drink and a side all for £15. As all dishes are prepared in the pub kitchen, they are able to cater for most dietary needs, with most sauces, soups and gravy all created gluten free. The Whip and Collar also offers gluten free bread and any other allergy free such as nuts, diary and gluten.

We were expected & welcomed pleasantly Service was good & unobtrusive, menu fine, food came freshly cooked & without delay. We all Enjoyed the lunch experience

First impressions good - clean table, nice conservatory position, young lady serving was very friendly and pleasant etc. Unfortunately the food took about 40 mins to arrive and 2 of the 6 dishes were pretty cold, clearly having sat waiting for other dishes to be prepared. My partner was unable to eat her mussells as they were so cold and tasteless. The other 3 adults opted for one of the Romanian specialities which were all OK, but nothing very special considering they were pretty expensive. The barmaid took the mussells off the bill without even being asked, which was appreciated - I don't think any of it was a reflection of her, she was charming to a fault, but I expect they were short-handed in the kitchen and it showed.

Food was cold, the drinks we ordered were not in stock. Mayonnaise sachets were out of date. Our first and last visit.

We had a long wait for food there was us and 1 other table ordered they said they had to cook there's first we waited over 40 minutes for food . My partners chicken wings were cold we was told that was because the bbq sauce is kept in the fridge. My veggie burger was like mush and tasted like dirty fat I couldn't eat it . It was a total waste of money would not recommend.

Very slow service. Server might have been new as they didn’t seem to know the menu very well. However she was pleasant. Luckily we were not in a rush! Nice touch that there was live music in the bar. Food quality was ok. Veg with roast dinner soggy and overcooked.

Fantastic little find. Mario and Alex very friendly and helpful. Great to see vegan items and fresh juices on the menu. We had the chicken wings with a side salad - all very tasty and fresh!! We’ll be back!
