   Nice venue, food was ok, tasty but not amazing. Had a roast dinner. Food not piping hot, gravy and sides were luke warm. However great choice of sides and liked the 'bottomless sides' approach but it is reflected in the price. Puddings average. I had chocolate and salted caramel mouse, it was very heavy, was more like a ganache, i left most of it. Service good and attentive.

   Food was great especially the monk fish and scampi starter. Services was amazing and very polite. But avoid table 2 as you have the doors either side of you opening and letting in the cold and banging closed.

   Absolutely fabulous meal with excellent service from start to finish. Food was amazing, service prompt, extra bread produced at no charge or request (but just what I needed to soak up the delicious mussel sauce). Wouldn't hesitate to eat here again if I lived locally. Totally recommend. The only change i would make would be to kill the background music - the hum of gentle conversation needs no backing track!

   Lovely setting and a lovely atmosphere. Booked a table for the bottomless roast and was not disappointed. Service was amazing and was well looked after as it was a birthday meal. Brought along our own birthday cake and this was brought out after the meal with no quibble. Had a lovely afternoon and will definitely visit again. Thanks to all at the White Oak for making the occasion memorable.

   We had a wonderful girls lunch midweek. We chose from the normal menu and all us agreed that the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. A big congratulations to all and I’m back again there tonight for more of the same.

    Amazing customer service, little bit quiet but it was the day after Valentines. Food was absolutely delicious, looking forward to returning very soon....
