We made a reservation for Friday night because most restaurants around here are busy on Fridays. We've been to Wild Goose before, sometimes sitting at a table, and sometimes at the bar. We live nearby. My husband doesn't love it because the food is hit-or-miss, and it's really expensive (more than most places around here). I like their drinks and some of their food (especially the fish tacos). I have to eat gluten-free and dairy-free, and the fish tacos are pretty good, and they're not breaded, so I can eat them. They easily take off the cheese and sour cream to make them dairy-free. They have a nice spicy sauce on them, too. Anyway, we wanted to sit at the bar but they were all full, so I had to make the reservation for a table. The place was packed and very noisy. They only seemed to have two servers, who were not fast enough to keep up. It took quite a while for anyone to take our drink orders, let alone bring the drinks. He ordered a beer, and the waitress came back with the beer list, saying they were out of the one he picked, to get another one. We didn't see her come back for a long time. She didn't bring his beer until he was halfway done eating. It was hard to catch her attention. We only got appetizers, since they are pretty filling and because of the price. She seemed to have an attitude about that (like maybe we weren't spending enough). That may be in our imagination, though, due to having to wait so long in a loud place. She didn't ask me if I wanted another soda, nor did she ask if we wanted dessert. It took a long time to get our check. We probably won't come back any time soon. FYI it was the brunette woman server, not the blonde, who was working that evening.
