The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar has been focused on successfully pairing contemporary California regional cuisine, with a hip, vibrant, sophisticated setting, to create a cutting-edge dining experience. When Partners JC Clow, William Lewis and Chef Yvon Goetz set out to deliver a culinary experience straight from wine county, little did they know that they would also earn the title of Restaurateurs of the Year for their achievements and have their restaurants in Newport Beach and Tustin earn the title of Restaurant of the Year multiple times!
The three partners strive to deliver the best dining experience In Orange County on a nightly basis. Chef Goetz, whose accolades include the AAA Five Diamond Award and multiple Chef of the Year honors, describes his menu at The Winery Restaurant as wine country-driven a perfect match for a wine program that features a list with 650 selections that change weekly and climate-controlled cellars, which can house up to 7,500 bottles!

Delicious food beautifully presented. I had the shrimp and scallops with risotto special. There were many specials so don’t judge by the regular menu. Service was a tad slow - kitchen issue I think - but it was worth the wait.

Everything was perfect. I had the Rib eye steak and it was incredible. I am coming back for sure.

Wine selection was not what you would think for a winery restaurant. The wine steward did not know what she was doing. So strange for a restaurant, literally, called The Winery Restaurant.

Our experience wasn’t what I thought it would be. We were a fairly large group. To start, we had to grab our waiter every time we wanted a refill or to place an order. Once we got our food we never got checked on. We ordered the gnocchi - it was not good. The flavors were all over the place and would’ve sent back if we were checked on. I had higher expectations for the food due to the price. So many things were off, unfortunately we won’t be returning.

$150 for two people with a 15% tip without alcohol drinks, 2 entrees and a split salad was a bit pricey. The fish was over cooked (Halibut special) but the Chopino was perfect.

Excellent seafood dishes- Halibut special and House Cioppino. Don't pass on the Truffle Mac and Cheese! We will be back!
