                                                                                                  We were there early on a Friday night. We made reservations through Open Table. It was packed with lines out the door when we left. The new decor matches the great new menu. Makenzie’s has for a hit! We will be back. We were so smart to use open table. From the looks of the line many many people weren’t as smart as us.. and we weren’t made to feel rushed at all. There was a birthday party near us and people were coming and going from that and not being rushed out at all. We will be back and use open table and possibly uber because no matter how big the parking lot is it may not be big enough.

                                                                                                  Dined for first time with friends on 12/12/24. Mocktails, French onion soup, deviled eggs, hamburger, apple rolls, all delicious! The waitress was very (but not too) attentive and friendly. The beautiful woodwork and decor were very warm and the changing, framed, digital, equestrian art was a nice touch to the theme! Competitive prices. Highly recommend!

                                                                                                  Attended with family, second time for me this week. Young and old enjoyed the ambience and menu. The wings are DELICIOUS! Hamburger was excellent and fish and chips were enjoyed by 2 people. All good. No complaints.

Calamari was overcooked and tasted liked a leather shoe. Bison and Jockey burgers mediocre at best. Hopefully, they will fix the food issues as the ambiance is great.
