Was staying downtown looking for somewhere to have breakfast. Found this place based on reviews online. It did not disappoint! Food was absolutely amazing. Everything had great flavor and cooked perfectly!

My wife and I arrived at the restaurant for their Valentine’s Day menu, but unfortunately, they had already sold out. We also inquired about their happy hour, but they informed us that they were not offering it since they were fully booked with the Valentine’s Day menu……… 😶🙃🙃🙃

Had a fun evening with the grandkids, 12 and 9. The 12 year old told his dad it was the best restaurant he’s been to, and he eats out a lot! Kids had the flatbread pizzas; adults had fish and chips (best anywhere) and delicious shrimp tacos.

All around excellent experience. Maurice was a warm, enthusiastic server who checked as often as necessary; well done! Loved the food and ambience. The noise level was surprisingly acceptable- especially for one member of our group with hearing difficulties. Only negative was the price of underground parking- I suspect it’s not under your control, but over $30 for a night out- ouch!

Thirsty Lion is the perfect place to eat on the way to an Avalanche game. The food is well prepared and flavorful. The restaurant is full of hockey fans ready to celebrate their team. selection is wide ranging from Sushi to fish and chips. Great Burgers. Seasonal specials. And if that's not enough you can always opt for something sweet.
