Was hoping for a great experience as this is a celebrity chef restaurant. Unfortunately, it’s an awkward left over space at the Hyatt so they called it a restaurant. There are a half dozen sushi places in North Scottsdale with better sushi at better prices. We sat inside and it was 55 degrees out and they had the doors open and it acted like a wind tunnel. Suffice to say we had a poor experience.

Tiki Taka is a must-visit! The ambiance is vibrant yet cozy, blending Japanese and Spanish flavors in the most creative way. Restaurant and table layout. Very odd . Menu very minimal , nothing sounds good. We sent back an item. Food no taste . MValue to expensive. most items burnt

Food was great ,we try new dishes that we never try before la PAELLA definitely has a very different flavor when it comes to the rice NOT your typical rice but it was good.Price I think is a little bit over price in my opinion for the portion that you get but definitely I recommend this place if your willing to try new food

Although they mentioned having a celebrity chef in the house, we found all of the dishes to be disappointing. The pork belly was so tough and dry we couldn’t eat it. The crispy rice with tuna was slightly better than the other dishes we ordered, but lacked in flavor. The sushi was forgettable. We did like the cocktails and the waitress was very nice. For a new restaurant with strong competition in the area this needs an overhaul to compete. They can also improve upon the ambiance so you don’t feel like you’re in a ‘hotel restaurant’. The outdoor tables may be a better choice than inside. Overall - expensive food at a less than desirable quality.

Went to Tiki Taka tonight for dinner and I feel absolutely bamboozled. I understand it is a tapas place, but the portions are incredibly small for the price. The crispy rice is $22 and it came out with one piece that was barely enough for ONE person. The taste of the dishes were subpar, but the price for what is served is a complete ripoff. My wife and I are now headed to in-n-out because we left hungry.

The menu looked innovative and enticing but execution fell short. The spot prawns were mushy in texture. The chicken skewers were fine, but were basic grilled poultry with nothing unique about them. The chorizo goyas were better but felt heavily fried. The environment is very loud, so if you’re looking for a relaxing dinner experience, this isnt it. And you know things arent quite right when you go home and your clothes smell of fried food. We will give Kudos to a milk punch whiskey based cocktail. Very smooth and flavorful. It looks like Richard Blais developed a very interesting menu, but if he wants to keep his good name he and his team should ensure better execution. It’s still early days for this restaurant. Perhaps give them more time to perfect it.

Great menu but small portions and over priced. The sushi roll, pork belly and chorizo gyoza were the best plates we shared. Wine list offer 9 oz pours which is nice but again, overpriced. Definitely resort pricing.
