We are the seafood and steak destination! A full service family restaurant, deli and convenience store that serves the best quality food and crab cakes and beverage in the Greater Baltimore Washington area in a clean, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere with a staff dedicated to providing knowledgeable, memorable and happy service to our customers. This was my first dining at Timbutu. I wanted to try something new for my birthday and this was a great choice. My server was sooooo good! The food was plenty, flavorfull and delicious! I had the the crab eggrolls for the app and for dinner I got the steak and crab cake. Everything was so yummy! I've already decided what I'm trying the next time I visit. :o)

We are from out of town and always make Timbuktu A stop on our journey. Service is always friendly and food is always good. We love their crab cakes and their seafood fettuccine Alfredo is the best I’ve had.

The food was delicious and we had an amazing time at dinner. Our server Christian was very professional and attentive to our table. He seems to enjoy what he is doing. Thanks for making our valentines dinner special.

This place is not what it used to be. My crab cake had a ton of filler. It was dry and had a burned taste to it. Presentation of my food could’ve been better as well. My broccoli was very cold as well. My stuffed shrimp didn’t have any taste whatsoever and my scallops were very chewy.

The hostess wasn’t friendly. However, our waitress was exceptionally friendly, polite, and attentive which made it a very pleasant experience. Though there was one incident that turned my stomach sour; I went to the bathroom in the middle of our meal. One of the staff members had just come out of the stall. She went to the sink, wet her hands lightly with water and then ran her hands over her hair to slick it down more into place. She took one more look in the mirror before leaving out of the bathroom. I was grossed out because she didn’t even think to wash her hands, even after seeing me, a patron of the restaurant in the bathroom watching all of this unfold. To the managers and owners of this restaurant, please teach your staff the importance of proper hygiene and sanitation, especially after using the bathroom.

My experience is usually great every time I visit here. My only problem this time was that they didn't have lamb chops on the menu, but it's on their website. I had the lamb chops here before, so I thought they would have them. I was a little disappointed because that's what I came for. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the food I did order. My suggestion is, if they are seasonal or whatever the reason they don't have them they should be removed from the menu on the website and added to the menu in the restaurant when they are available. Like for a special or something.
