Tintoque seeks to be a cultural link that expresses the gastronomic journey of the passage of the years in the bay, finding flavors and elements that mark each stage in the history of Puerto Vallarta.

Here a different proposal of creative cuisine is presented based on the essence of regional recipes and ingredients, with the best product offered by the Mexican Pacific, materialized with the influence of the kitchens and trips that have marked the life of the Vallarta Chef Joel Ornelas; who transmits a signature cuisine that manages to be a true gastronomic experience for lovers of good food and all those who seek to refine their palate with unique experiences.

The Culinaria Mexicana publishing house has awarded Tintoque for the third consecutive year as one of the 120 best restaurants in Mexico in its "Guide Mexico Gastronomico 2020".

    We were a party of 8 people and in town for a conference. Tintoque is in an old house in a quiet little neighborhood. The food is divine. We shared appetizers, main dishes and desserts. Their cocktail menu is interesting and refreshing, their wine list expansive. The service is attentive without being overbearing. My ONLY complaint is that the music on the inside is very loud, making it difficult to focus on the explanations of the dishes and conversation with your table mate. I would simply ask to be seated outside next time, or maybe for less volume on the music. It was lovely, 15/10 would eat there again and would highly recommend!

    We left there agreeing that it was the best restaurant we had ever ate at despite the fact that we eat out frequently. We spent 2 1/2 hours all of it filled with glorious food. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Absolutely fantastic.

    it was my husbands birthday so I treated. it was a memorable moment for him as he is a foodie and has eaten good food all over the world. He was impressed with our seating our servers the knowledge that server and wine master shared with us. The whole evening of 2.5 hours was magical and we will be returning.

    Innovative food prepared to a continuously high standard. The tasting menu is always exquisite and the wine parings, especially the standard paring, are always well chosen and complimentary. We enjoyed it so much that we had to visit a second time during our recent trip to PV. Never disappoints!

    Nicely perched by a riverside bank and it is quite pleasant. The food is also excellent.

    I’m not one to write reviews but our experience was something that needs to be shared. Sadly this restaurant did not live up to our expectations despite the amazing reviews we read. The courses were small, bland, no meats, mostly all fish dishes and the wine pairings were all whites and one rose at the end and way too big of pours to enjoy a wine with each pairing. You have to prepay through open table so I got charged 3 times each time with international fees and one charge refunded but not the fees. Not worth the price at all. They completely rushed us through the courses and servers weren’t very personal. We are sadly disappointed by this experience.
