Tom Brown’s Restaurant specializes in wet aged hand-cut Certified Angus Beef, the freshest seafood flown in, and house-made entrees. We serve only exceptional food with authentic hospitality. Overrated ….food was barely fair…meat cooked till well done n fish inedible …rolls were microwaved n chewy…potatoes tasted as if cooked day before…prices way to high for quality recieved

The night started off on a very bad note. Our birthday reservation for four at 6:30 was not met. It was 7:00 before we were seated. I find this unacceptable and mismanagement. Once seated things got a lot better. Deidra C. was our fantastic server. She is extremely knowledgeable of the menu and gave some excellent recommendations. Our drinks, appetizers, and food came out in a timely fashion and everything was perfect. Our appetizers were escargot and fired okra, delicious! Our dinners were, redfish, tilefish, beef filet, and elk. All were perfectly prepared and delicious.

Salmon was good. Steaks not so much. Seasonings overdone on most dishes. Service was great but wont go back. Expected and paid for an upscale steakhouse experience - disappointed overall. “Signature” dishes missed!

Both my wife and daughter ordered their steaks medium and when they came out they were medium rare, plus my sauce didn't come out on my dinner and they brought me the wrong side with my dinner. However, everything else was good. I would have figured them to take off something on the bill since it was the owner himself (Tom Brown) on the grill cooking the steaks which again, came out to our table incorrectly. Looks like it will be a while before we return again.

Our waiter was extremely rude. They have a picture of Channing Tatum from the movie “Magic Mike” in the restaurant. Where he is shirtless. I kindly asked my waiter if we could be moved because he had set me directly in front of it. He made the remark well maybe you can switch sides with the girl I was with. To which I told him no I would not like my 15 year old daughter to sit in front of a shirtless man from a movie portraying a stripper. He got very agitated like this was an unreasonable request and set us in the corner away from the ambience of the rest of the restaurant. Even though the restaurant was empty and there were no other people coming in. I also ordered an old fashion and asked for it not to be smoked and he sent it smoked any way. My bill was 250 dollars. And even though the waiter was extremely rude and did not make me and my daughter feel welcomed at all I still tipped 40 because it was the end of the night. This is quite the disappointment because I’ve taken my wife here prior to this a couple times and did not have the same experience.

Food was great, service was great but the price of the food was way too high & the atmosphere for the price was not what we expected. Disappointed. Not sure if we will go back.
