Established by long-time Algiers’ Point residents, Tonti’s serves fabulous food and cocktails Thursday through Monday, with brunch served on weekends.

Part restaurant, part cocktail bar, part café, Tonti’s combines the elegance of an old world bistro with the casual nature of a neighborhood eatery. The dining room is a light-filled space perfect for a long lunch, a nice sit down dinner, or even a last stop for an after dinner drink.

Our delightful patio is an amazing place to sit and catch up with friends.

    What a great hidden little gem in old Algiers. The restaurant was adorable, the service was on point and the food was outstanding. I would put this place up against any of the big boys on the east bank. It was our first time there and we will DEFINITELY be back!!!!

    The onion soup has been altered and resembled dirty dishwater rather than the bowl of delish that we knew and loved along with a non-memorable rest of the meal. Likely to not return.

    The atmosphere was wonderful we were celebrating a birthday  the waiter was not great at all. He was nice, but I don't know why we ordered a bowl of onion soup and ask her to come out and never came out. We asked him several times. He never brought it out the chicken we ordered the three plates of the chicken one was raw one just couldn't eat theirs and the other one was just OK. The salad we ordered. It was not good the burgers, my 13 year old, never before not ate his burger. He did not eat his burger the sprite. The drinks was missing carnation. We told them they kept bringing us out the same drinks in which charge for them. I spent $128. Have the food would've been good. I wouldn't have not been a bad price we left food at the table. We did not pay for the raw chicken plate, but we paid for everything else. Sorry to say will not be going back there cause I thought the place was really adorable and had her great things about it.

    Food quality and flavor have declined since the first time I was here, just after opening. The dishes were blah. The duck was incredibly salty and not seared on top so the skin was not appetizing. My husband couldn't eat it so we have to trade dishes. The red fish was just ok and had a sauce mostly slathered over the top which was not tasty. The first time I went to this restaurant they had a trout almondine that was fabulous. Too bad restaurants don't stay with what works. The room is adorable and has a very sweet decor.

    Horrible delays in getting the food out of the kitchen. Couple next to us didn’t get there’s until we were finished and they had order before we were seated. If they Do NOT accept cash which they didn’t. It should be on the menu! Or at least advise when ordering. The menu, 2 of 6 entrees NOT available and it wasn’t because they sold out. Should NOT try to be French when the escargots were even cooked with butter & garlic. The French Fries weren’t, they are Steak Fries. Will NOT return…even though came highly recommended before they closed and reopened. The French Onion soup was good.

    We had a wonderful experience. The space is very welcoming like going for dinner at a friend’s house. Impeccable service and both the cocktails and food were perfectly prepared. The onion soup is exceptional. Even though it was unbearably hot outside, the soup was still worth it! The shrimp and grits was an interesting presentation using grit cakes that were more manageable, creamy and soft. Avocado caprese salad, lightly dressed and perfect to let the taste of the heirloom tomatoes come through. Smash burger, nice crust loaded with flavor. No ketchup needed. Key lime pie for dessert was served as a tartlet with a graham cracker crust. Perfect ending. A great night out and a ferry ride back across the river with a very full belly.

    We love having this place right in our neighborhood. We’ve been dining there once a week lately and the service and food have been consistently good.

    Great restaurant to enjoy a great meal and especially one to celebrate an anniversary of a couple celebrating their 55th.

    I've dined at Tonti's three times in the last month or so and each meal has been fantastic! Great food, great drinks! My only complaint this last time was that we were seated near a very boisterous table which made it difficult for us to have a conversation (but that's no fault of the restaurant). The shrimp and grits are some of the best in town!
