An exciting new destination for elevated dining has arrived. Chef Richard Sandoval brings his award-winning global Pan Latin Steakhouse concept to Four Seasons Hotel Houston. Rooted in the celebration of the vibrant flavors and convivial dining culture of Central and South America, Toro Toro will offer guests a twist on the contemporary steakhouse experience with Pan-Latin flavors from Rodizio-style Churrasco and creative shareable small plates.

Exceptional beverage options will complement the bold flavors of each dish with an expansive wine list highlighting Latin wines and unique Latin cocktails, all hand-muddled with the freshest ingredients and artful garnishes.

$140 for buffet for 2 people is way over priced. It’s not like it was organic food. Potatoes and eggs were terrible

Our table attendents were professional and attentive. The food was a bit disappointing. I would have hope the plantain and crisp would be hot and crispy. My husband's entre -chicken skin was burnt but meat was salvageable. My Wagu beef was very chewy, which disappointing because I could only eat half. The green beans were quite raw. I understand they were trying to bring in the crunch concept to have a crunch when consuming greens beans, but they were still uncooked. Maybe, we arrived too early and the kitchen wasn't ready. Sadly quite disappointing.

Dined in and was warmly welcomed by the hostess and FOH manager. When we sat the server assistant greeted us swiftly and provided water and comfort seating. The service began with Danny and he came loaded with menu knowledge and awesome recommendation complimented with a genuine service that tailored our needs. He wasn’t overbearing he also wasn’t absent. Everything was right on time. Multiple servers greeted our table. And we’re very attentive. Toro Toro has done an exceptional job creating a hospitable environment. My only regret is that I didn’t collect the names of the other staff so they can also receive proper recognition. But they know who they are. Continue to do your good work. Service is dying in Houston. More establishments are switching over to ambience driven vs service driven. Toro Toro gives you both! Will definitely return to explore other parts of the menu. We enjoyed the ribeye. It wasn’t the best steak I’ve had but it wasn’t the worst. I definitely should’ve requested a different cut. My ribeye was heavily marbled so I didn’t really enjoy it value wise but the flavor was evident. Definitely could taste the Latin flare but I expected more bang. I’ll be back for the service and I’ll give chef another opportunity to get it right.

We were expecting a better ambience at the place. The food was good but not extraordinary. Our waiter was extraordinary. Overall, the service was excellent, but the food was simply good. The place is extremely expensive for what you get.

We ordered 2 drinks and we only got 1 after waiting neatly 50 minutes. We never received our second drink. Our waiter was very polite and apologetic but the wait time for everything ruined our valentines day night.

I was traveling solo on business in Houston and made a reservation for one via Open Table. When I arrived there were seats available at the bar so I took one instead of sitting at a table in the main dining room. The service was just slightly slow initially (getting my order placed), but only because there was only one bartender. After that the service was exemplary. I started with a beet hummus and burrata salad, which was was an exquisite blend of wonderful flavors. I followed with the Peruvian ceviche, which, like any ceviche I have ever had at a Richard Sandoval venue, was outstanding. Not quite as good as the ceviche at Costa Verde in Lima, but pretty close. My seat mate at the bar offered me a taste of his ribeye steak, which was a perfect medium rare and maybe the most flavorful ribeye I have ever tasted anywhere, with the possible exception of Bones in Atlanta or a restaurant called The Refinery in Andover NH. I will definitely visit Toro Toro again soon!
