Tucked behind El Barrio Cantina in Long Beach, Tokyo Noir is an intimate 25-seat speakeasy with a side-alley entrance and world-class cocktail program, co-concepted by restaurateur/founder Jesse Duron and acclaimed mixologist Kevin Lee. As the only certified Ice Master outside of Japan, Lee has created a cocktail menu at Tokyo Noir that will make it a destination for serious bar culture fans, who want to experience the art and craft of cocktailing. The beverages are complemented by a robust izakaya-style menu from Chef Ulises Alfaro-Piñeda, with craveable small plates that go beyond bar snack expectations. As a whole, this discreet speakeasy concept will surprise locals and impress the industry.

Food service ends 11pm Weds,Thurs, and Sun. Midnight on Fri and Sat.
If you don't see reservations we are fully booked, we do take walk-ins if people no show.
Best time to try is at 5pm or after 11pm.

We visited Tokyo Noir last night, and it was a memorable experience. This venue is reservation-only, and entry is exclusive—you cannot enter without being escorted in by the hostess. The ambiance is small, dark, and uniquely intimate, setting the tone for a one-of-a-kind evening. The small bites were delightful, but the true highlight was the insanely, wonderfully crafted drinks. Every cocktail was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend requesting a seat at the bar. Watching the ice-carving artistry up close adds an extra layer of magic to the experience. Overall, Tokyo Noir offers a truly special and sophisticated outing.

Food was great, drinks were great. Wear your jacket because it was cold as hell in there because they kept holding the front door open which kind of goes against the whole speak easy vibe. Overall the place was very Japanese chic and I would go back. If you go, do yourself and party a favor and request that they not sit you by the door on the super uncomfortable stools….

Such a fun night! Food, drinks and service were great. Just “hipster” enough but never pretentious. Love this place!

An amazing Speakeasy located in an alley. The whole vibe is nothing short of satisfactory. The drinks are worth trying. The edamame was however too salty and the grilled squid was so miniature in size lol, I could’ve eaten 10 of that portion size. Overall, it was a pretty awesome experience and I’d for sure go back again for the drinks

My friend and I have been wanting to try Tokyo Noir, but took us sometimes to get a reservation. We had a great experience at Tokyo Noir! The drinks and food were amazing!! We definitely will come back to try their sushi options and other drinks!

Beautiful place, clean and comfortable. The drinks were great and the bartenders were personable and entertaining to watch work. The food items were flat out delicious. We tried six different items and they were all equally great. We will definitely come back soon!

Had to wait 15 mins to be seated. Waited by the bathroom inside the restaurant attached. Server brought sushi on one plate and just dropped it off no explanation of what was what. The dropped off some squid next to me on the edge of the table. I didnt order it and didnt even know it was there until I set my elbow into it and ruined my jacket. Really soured the night and I was really excited to try this place and show it to my friends. Will not be coming back here

Drinks were very good. It was fun to watch the ice carving and see the different shapes for each glass. Bar bites were tasty but do not recommend counting on a full meal. We had the corn dogs, chicken wings, grilled squid, spicy tuna, and salmon. All of it was great.

Great new space in LB. Good small bites. Well curated cocktails, a bit on the sweet side. Had reservations for bar seating, but was sat at a corner with stool seating. There were 4 seats at the bar, but when we inquired, they said they had us slated for the corner. Bummed.
