   Pizza with fresh mozzarella different than many local restaurants. Crust was outstanding, taste was very good but cheese not as flavorful as some Also ordered Italian rice balls (arancini) which could have been served hotter Staff pleasant Bread which is complimentary very good We will return and try different items

   Service was excellent and so was the food. Pizza was delicious and loved the bread with the eggplant. The lemon cake was very good too. We will definitely be back

   The food was EXCELLENT ! The pizza was one of the best I have ever had ! My husband loved the eggplant Parmesan as well! We will go back often!

   The food was delicious - especially the pizza! My only note was it very warm inside - especially with the Florida heat and the pizza oven!

   We had an awesome dinner at this downtown gem. The owner greets you and seats you, and the entire staff is attentive. Our waiter Francesco gave great recommendations and service. We had the best pizza in Sarasota, and a wonderful pear salad to start out meal. The wine list was good and very well thought out. The only negative thing was the noise level, a little loud at times. Next time we return here, and it will be soon, we will sit outside. This is my new favorite restaurant, I want to try everything on the menu.

   My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant the other evening with friends. Upon arrival, we were initially directed to a small dining room that was quite noisy, filled with diners. Interestingly, both the outer and outdoor dining areas were nearly empty. After some discussion, we requested to be seated outside, which caused a bit of confusion. However, once we were settled at our outside table, the dining experience improved significantly. The only downside to sitting outdoors was the presence of mosquitoes. I inquired about bug spray, but unfortunately, they did not have any available. I would recommend that anyone planning to dine outside consider applying insect repellent to their legs and feet beforehand. Now, regarding the food: we ordered a pizza that was perfect for sharing between my wife and me, along with a Caesar salad that we also split. While most restaurants would typically serve the salad in separate portions, we had to improvise with the plates available on our table. The pizza was enjoyable, though not the best I've had; it was a bit light on the toppings, and the crust could have been slightly more cooked to my taste. Overall, it was a very nice dining experience, and I would recommend it for a pleasant evening out.
