Trattoria Emilia is an authentic Italian restaurant focusing on seasonal produce and fresh pasta. Head chefs Francesco Rota and Luca Flammia hail from Modena in Emilia Romagna.

At Trattoria Emilia we seasonally change the menu and source a large majority of our produce from regional Victoria, our meat is organic and sustainably grown in Tasmania and Victoria and we import some of the best Italian DOC products. Some dishes that are not to be missed are our Tortelloni Emiliani and the crowd favourite salumi misti with gnocco fritto and tigelle served with mortadella mousse.

Rustic, yet refined, Trattoria Emilia boasts fantastic ambience, attentive and professional service whilst all the while remaining a great casual dining spot perfect for a quick lunch, a long relaxing dinner with friends and has always been a romantic date spot.

    As part of this experience, enjoy a 3-course menu with your choice of an entrée, a main, and a dessert/cheese from our a la carte menu. Dinner reservations will be allocated a 2-hour seating time. I you are wanting a quick meal of one or two courses, the à la carte menu is only available for lunch or early dinner reservations (starting from 5:00 - 5:30 pm with a 1.5-hour sitting time). Please contact the restaurant directly for enquiries regarding this option.

    Trattoria Emilia can probably guess at how much I love this restaurant by the number of bookings I have made! I love the food, the choices of wine and the knowledge of their sommelier and the atmosphere is always buzzing.

    Great for a business lunch but will admit that it can be tad noisy - but hey, it's a Trattoria. Food is fantastic as is the service. Will do it again!

    Hidden down a cute laneway in an old motor garage is one of the very best Italian restaurants in the city ... actually, one of the best places to eat! Their Gnocco (atteptiser) is a fluffy savoury starter that never fails to get my guests to say "oh ... wow". Great sharing food (or don't share) and excellent wines (mostly Italian). Pastas are unique, the mains amazing. I visit regularly. Not cheap but certainly not over the top.

    Killer venue. Ambiance and food on point. Pasta was very similar to Bologna, hard to achieve and up there with the best in Melbourne.
