Terrible service and no apologies for this terrible service, but the food was delicious.

The service was really bad. After being seated for an hour and a half and having to ask for at least some bread for the table three times, the waitress finally came and dropped 3 pieces of bread and a plate with cheese and some fried things (looked like arancini) and walked away. No plates, no utensils. Our food came out an hour and a half after ordering. When we tried to give the waitress some constructive criticism at the end of the meal, she said “we always put this plate of cheese and fried olives, I didn’t have time to explain this to you, it’s not my fault you didn’t get bread, it’s the owners fault cause I’m busy”, then she proceeded to bring the poor busboy to apologize for not doing her job..

They were not prepared to handle the volume of tables. They ran out of the first item I ordered, so I had to order a second item. 44 minutes later they come back and say the 2nd item they had now run out of also - after waiting 45 minutes. Over 1.15 hours to get entries. They did nothing to compensate for it, or even apologize. Eggplant was not prepared well.

The food was ok but I would not call this Restaurant Italian. Remembering someone comment on the bread, I have to say i disagree: it was nice little warm rolls that we all appreciated a lot. The pizza is pretty good but the service is lacking a bit. I would return to give it a second chance.

The ambiance/atmosphere was intimate, warm and inviting. The bread was warm and tasty. We ordered the calamari appetizer and the restaurant allowed us to omit the shrimp and fish that are typically mixed in. It was good. The aioli could have been more flavorful and the calamari a bit lighter on breading. We had pizza (two varieties) and the Caicos lobster. The pizza crust was excellent however, one was a bit burnt. The lobster did not come out with the pizza and we waited 15-20 minutes for it to be served. It was cooked slightly over but was still very good. Unfortunately, our party did not get to eat together as we finished the pizza before the lobster was served. We ordered the chocolate mouse appetizer to share. Texturally it seamed to have been frozen. I wasn’t sure if this was so it could be presented in a mini bundt cake like form or if that was unrelated. We didn’t finish it amongst three of us as it wasn’t really like mouse at all.

If u like island time. It’s the place. We had reservations but our server came to check in 35-40 min later. Food came hour later. Check came in seconds😂😂. Good food/ value comparable to rest of island fair.

They had clearly forgotten us. No bread service and then an hour before we got our mains after appetizers. A table of 12 came 45 mins after we sat (table of 4) and they finished before we did.

We had a really great meal here and would definitely recommend it. The pizza from the wood burning stove was delicious and the pastas were as well. The lobster linguini was a highlight. Nice spot in Turks.

Our overall experience was mediocre at Trattoria Isolana. Family of four and we ordered two Beef Tenderloin and a Chicken Alfredo- the beef tenderloin was not cooked to order and was massively under cooked- the chicken Alfredo was disappointing for an Italian restaurant- felt very heavy and not seasoned properly- just tasted a tad off. Also ordered a salad which was delightful. Service was pleasant and attentive- was loud and sometimes hard to hear but overall good service. Ambiance was active and pleasant- no issues with that at all.
