We were grossly overcharged Two people dining. The set menu was €75pp plus a bottle of wine €35. Expected a bill around €185-190. The bill came at €246. We were charged €24 for a”free” drink to accompany our sweets and a 15% “tax charge “ on the overall bill. Apparently this has happened many times in the past as I read it on reviews. The man Incharge is a slimy character that pretends to be friendly till you challenge him. Then he turns ugly. DONT GO THERE.

I had a wonderful experience in Trattoria da Gioia, I ate really well and the waiters were kind and helpful, giving excellent advice for dinner. I will definitely return when in Venice again next February for their Carneval celebration! I had an appetizer of mixed salumi and cheese, fried fish and a desert with strawberries which I recommend.cheers

Cher car le service 12% n'est pas compris dans les prix affichés au menu...et qualité très très moyenne. Des petits gâteaux au chocolat offerts avec le café, intention louable mais pas très fameux. Addition demandée à un serveur mais celui-ci est parti sans revenir vers nous. Restaurant que nous déconseillons, il y en a de biens meilleurs et moins chers...

When visiting the beautiful city of Venice, I accidentally walked into this Italian restaurant.Surprisingly, the food is excellent,The staff are also very,We tried the Italian specialty squid pasta,After eating, you will be surprised and take a photo with a black mouth- we will come back to this restaurant again.

We had an amazing time here. We ordered two different pasta dishes and 1 pizza and they were the best we’ve eaten on holiday so far. Ashik and Franco were served us were so attentive and friendly. We will defo be returning, Top g’s!

Abbiamo provato il menu Natalizio, devo dire fantastico soprattutto il risotto! Personale gentile e preparato anche nella scelta dei vini. Sicuramente torneremo.

We found this delightful restaurant on Open Table and it exceeded our expectations. We had a great table where we could watch umbrellas rush past in the rain. Our server, Ashik was excellent. We started with cod on polenta which I think is a Venice speciality. Excellent! We took Ashik’s recommendation on gnocchi with mushrooms and truffles and it was exceptional. My husband enjoyed delicious carbonara. Ashik recommended a great 1/2 bottle of wine that matched both dishes perfectly. We were hungry and jet lagged but enjoyed this dinner immensely. The perfect ending was limoncello. Be sure not to skip this step! Highly recommend!
