Italian restaurants abound in New York City, but Trattoria Trecolori's authentic old-world cuisine stands out. This family-run restaurant has been pleasing patrons since 1991. While the owners may have changed the location of their restaurant a few times, their passion for creating classic Italian recipes and providing exceptional service has persisted. Trattoria Trecolori serves traditional, hearty Italian cuisine at reasonable prices. Start off your meal with one of the three types of antipasto. There is no shortage of pasta dishes. Choose from spaghetti alla carbonara or the signature rigatoni alla trecolori. Other entrée options include unique dishes such as chicken fantasia and calamari alla Luciana, fresh squid sautéed in red wine along with saffron risotto. For a proper finish to your meal, try one of Trattoria Trecolori's sweet homemade desserts.

                                                                                                      We were a few minutes late for our reservation and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The food and the service were incredible . Would highly recommend this restaurant.

                                                                                                      This was an absolutely great experience. We went for lunch before the theater. Food was really good, service was outstanding and drinks were spot on. We shared a delicious Caesar salad, I had eggplant parm and my companion had gnocchi. Dessert was cheesecake and tartufo. I'd give them a 5*

                                                                                                      Greeted by a smiling hostess and the place was busy. Sat at the bar and ordered an Old Fashion which was a bit sweet for my taste so the bartender added some Makers Mark which improved the overall experience. Dinner of veal with gnocchi was perfectly prepared. Highly recommended.

We went there mainly for the location since we had a show to go to afterwards. However I would definitely go again regardless of location.
